Having said all of the above just to sell an Efjeeco bait box circ,1975...there are pics of the item ,well cared for and on concrete..
(Never buy anything pictured for sale on concrete )..!

As new - The one zip on the pocket is broken and the mice have chewed it in a few places but works as it should
Ordered by mistake - used once and it was a piece of **** so looking to offload it for the same money I paid.

One rod has had 6 inches broken from the tip and the butt ring insert has fallen out of one of the other rods ( insert easily replaced cheaply with one from Ebay and never bothered me ) the third rod has a different tip ring and the whipping is red not blue like the others .. doesn't effect use in any way. Other wise mint.
Call it old Skool and the millennials will snap it up in an attempt to look like they've been carp fishing longer than 5 minutes

Many years ago I bought a Matrix Bulldog landing net
Off of someone on here. Its a lovely net and still going strong.
However it can be a right pain in the arse to put together.
Sometimes first time, sometimes 5 frustrating minutes.
He sold it ' no longer have use for it'
A few months later someone on here was asking about
The same net and my bloke did a full 100 word rant about what a piece of **** it was. Lol

if its second hand then half the retail price is good with me.
nearly new / unused is tosh... half retail and you take your chance if mail order.
never had a problem on here over the years due to buying from mainly regulars...

Rubbish, I've got a new unused jag adjustable 316 pod that I may sell simply because I've jag black sticks and bars and will be buying a solar universal, either standard or euro. This pod cost £475 and half that won't buy it, I'd keep it if that was all its worth as I've seen the older thumb screw model in used condition go for £300. Recently bought 3 free spirit Hi's ive's after looking at them second hand only saw one set under a grand and they were well used with damage to the duplon and all writing yellow and faded. All the others were over a grand. The used market is flooded with mid range stuff but the high end stuff in v good condition is getting harder to find although I did see several sets of aviators for reasonable money but on viewing they were all poorly built custom jobs.

I would pay 75% of new price for top condition goods that I really wanted. I've seen loads of gear go on e bay for a fiver less than new when you add postage into the equation. That's just ridiculous. I pull out of auctions way before that.

"First to see will buy" - I've polished the **** out of them to hide the fact they've been run over by a div in a T32
"Sold as seen" - been run over by a div in a T32 and I cannot be bothered to polish the **** out of them, so i've knocked a tenner off.

Interesting and maybe a business idea - create a new company called ‘Top Names Only' the second hand market would be amazing.
Anyone old enough to remember swap-shop will recall that people have always been quite skewed regards value:
Offers Cludeo board game missing colonial mustard and the lead pipe
Wants Full Le Mans scaletrix with 6 cars, grandstand and 675 foot of track
The modern day equivalent
3 greys rods were £300 each new with butt ring protectors looking to swap for 3 or 4 Hi-s, aviators or other top end rod (no rubbish)
