M h leads on Facebook...Mark provides loads of choice, colours, excellent comms and service...

Just ordered some off a guy on Facebook called Steve's Leads.
They look great quality definitely worth a look.

Agreed, Severn Valley Leads are really nicely finished leads, especially the matt finish ones, hard wearing finish but nice and dull.

I have no connection to them

My only comment is that they should have a proper website for purchasing but that said when you contact them they are very quick to respond and therafter ordereing is easy, delivery is quick and price is great

I have used Steve's leads on FB now for some time, great quality and price, never a problem with the coating cracking as I have done from other suppliers!

Longchuck leads via FB decent leads at a reasonable price, he dose an inline lead that fits fox drop off system should you need to use that type of system in your fishing

I can recommend isn carter for leads . He's on Facebook. He always gets them to me ontime . Even when I leave it too late

Steve's leads are very good, I payed £11.00 for 10 x 3.5 heli leads posted, recently , don't know how this compares with others but they are very good.

Mine came today, I got textured clay 4oz heli leads and I am very happy with them. Also paid 11.00.

He offers various different colours to match lake beds in both matt and textured.

Personally i use West Country Leads. Great service from Lee and decent prices.

Had a look at scruffs , comparing like for like, 3.5 heli leads, scruffs work out slightly more expensive than Steve's leads.

11.50 with postage included.

If you say postage is minimum 3.50 then your effectively paying 80p for a 4oz lead in the colour and texture of your choice.

Absolute bargain in my opinion.

You're not gonna far wrong with any of them. When you consider how much leads cost in places like Angling Direct then it's a no-brainer.

Just for comparison, Carters leads (who I use) do 50 x 4oz leads for £30 collected (60p a lead) or £37.50 delivered (75p a lead).

I think the price per delivered lead decreases the more you buy because the postage costs aren't linear. For example, 100 leads may be 60p a lead and £10 delivery, equating to 70p a lead. I think.

I make leads all word of mouth sales when u work out its a kilo of lead for roughly 9 4 oz leads the gas the clips and swivels and coating the time it takes there ain't a lot of money in making them but as long as i keep getting asked I'll keep making them

I don't know about one more cast, I'd be scared to cast them out in case I had a crack off. For that price, do they come with a homing beacon ,so you can swim out and retrieve tham?

£2.33 a lead,Korda around same price.I don't know how they sell any at these prices,there are so many good companies around now doing them for half the price

I've just read about those leads and thay have been designed to do a number of tasks better, the bag is a wonderfull touch, and very well made

I'd recommend West country leads, you wont get better, price is competitive. He does get busy , so you may have to wait a while at certain times of the year.

There's loads of places and loads of threads about this on here.

I use Carter's Leads (on Facebook), but my recommendation is to find someone who makes them local to you to avoid high postage costs.

I've used a lot of independent lead producers over the years but strangely there is only one, that I have used who's leads actually are the the weight stated, that is DS LEADS, some of the others are way off.
This might not be important to you but it is for me plus suburb finish, fast delivery and decent price means I only use them now. They are in Kidderminster but post at cost.
