I would imagine daiwa will make them. Im sure they make the guru rods and gurus new feeder reel looks identical to my daiwa tournament 20 feeder reel just a different colour.

If your referring to DFs rods, I'm sure he has customs on a daiwa blank

Time will tell but I was told a few months ago to expect korda to enter the rod market after a falling out with daiwa. If you look none of the daiwa rods now carry the DF name.
Peck ,DF and Rob Burgess were all using different rods on the masterclass and Rob mentioned a prototype rod.

They have cut ties with a couple of companies,Trakker and Daiwa I believe.Im shocked at the Daiwa one as Korda get a fair wedge of money for promoting the Daiwa name

That Net Danny uses looks interesting. Metal spreader block with a spike on the end of the net pole. Could be a prototype. Unless you peeps can tell me otherwise.. 
Maybe that's why Terry now works for korda been testing and developing new rods

I haven't seen the clip you mentioned but it wouldn't surprise me if they bought a similar net to Dymags, as I know some of the Korda use them when not in front of the cameras.

It makes sense to increase profit margins by taking a step up the supply chain. Basic business sense. Mr Fairbrass and his crew aren't stupid. They will utilise any possible route to increasing their profit margin. Personally I think Mr Fairbrass is one of the good guys. Doesn't stop him wanting to see his company , and by extension his bank balance, go from strength to strength..

I don't begrudge D. F. A penny he has ever earned. The guy has worked his. arse off for years and built a company from the ground up. More power to his elbow. I buy the stuff he makes that I like and buy other stuff elsewhere. My gear is a mixture of almost every brand you can name. There are worse. Company owners in the world than Danny Fairbrass. In every industry and every walk of life. If they were all as philanthropic as him the world would be a better place

I wouldn't of thought Dymag would be able to produce the type of numbers Korda would demand. From what I've seen of the net it looks very similar to the old Don's of Edmonton springbow net. I even seem to remember Damien on a podcast mentioning something about giving a net to Ritchie Mac that was very similar.
This is exactly what these little glimpses in these vids are designed to do.. get us talking ramp up the interest..

A friend works quite high up in a "supply chain" type business as a PR exec. you'd be shocked at what the big BIG boys with lots of income can do to keep their clients sweet. he purchased 150 customised omega sea masters ( the cost goes down in bulk and when custom as not collectors trims ) to give as gifts to the companies they work with, if you give five of them to a company that directs a couple hundred grand of business to you it flatters them. and bear in mind thats small fry, some key contributors are flown around the world / routinely get gifts etc sickening money but if both businesses are making each other money then why not.
At least Danny seems to be putting a hell of a lot of it back into the sport, far more than anyone else. if it was all about money there is many greater things to reinvest your wealth in than fishing lakes.

I agree, what the company and Danny in general has done for angling he been monumental. Helping with fencing, all the junior stuff, reams of videos, pulling lakes out of ruin for embryo to mention just a few items. If he hadn't made a wad non of this would have been possible.
I'm not naive enough to think that there may be an anterior motive as more anglers obviously means more revenue but no one else has gone to the extremes he has.

However he explained that it was a French business partner who had been involved in it and Kevin himself was unaware at the time and wasn't happy at all about the situation when it all came to light.
Take that with a pinch of salt if you will but im just saying that is his version of events (according to the podcast).

Over the last 50 years a lot of people have moved fish in many places. Including me. It's how many lakes were originally stocked. However, hijacking the thread. Happy to start a "let's get rid of the gossip" thread.

Lol. I'm saying maybe he didn't don a set of waders and roll his sleeves up to move the fish personally. He did profit from the theft and movement of fish into a water he was affiliated with though. It wasn't 50 years ago either and the parties involved were well aware what they were doing was for financial gain, not a few people slipping half a dozen carp into a club water in 1978
The same as the stolen river fish stocked into a fishery who's owner used to get his ring plated on here daily.
