Can anyone recommend me a Bedchair cover ? Been looking at the Gardner ones so any feedback on those or any others you think would be great, needs to be waterproof and of course really warm, it's going over my trakker peachskin sleeping bag.

I got the Gardner compact at the back end of summer, and I'm very pleased with it. Slept on top of the bag a few times with just the cover over me, and a couple of times in the bag plus cover, no problem either way. Ideal when you've got a wet labrador that likes to have snooze on your bed.

got the Gardner. it's brilliant. only had the Trakker before and this is head and shoulders better.

Can only echo the previous replies on the Gardner cover. I have one too and it's brilliant. Really warm, waterproof and the standard sized one is a good size, so gives a great overhang to stop draughts.

I really like the Korda cover - had it for about 9 months and been perfect for me. warm, waterproof, versatile (zip off fleece)

Not really, the gardner is massive... if you have a standard sized bedchair and fish without a groundsheet it is likely to trail in the mud on both sides....

the normal size Gardner is very very big as it covers a normal size bedchair and also a wideboy bedchair mine has never touched the ground on a standard size bed but guess if you have a very low bed it might ?
I got both I used the normal on my ELS bedchair I love it as I dont zip my bag up and it covers the gap up perfectly
but when I bought a compact bedchair it was on the ground both sides so had to buy the compact version as well

I'd throw the CA one in with the clip in fur yes it's expensive but it's brilliant

If you're after something 100% waterproof Army Andy made me a gortex one. Great bit of kit.

Just had one made to measure by a company based in Oxford called Eden Maya.
Goretex, very well made and higher quality than my old Cotswold Aquarius in my opinion.
Very affordable as well.

I have the Aqua throw and it's waterproof and quilted and usable during the height of summer have no need to change it. However if I was in a position of needing to get one I'd look at the gardner.
Wychwood has one where you can prop up the headend with a long bank stick.

Another thumbs up for gardner. I bought the dpm after reading reviews on this site and its fantastic. With my ss5 sleep system even in - 4 i was toasty. Well worth the money

It's a toss up between the jrc rover and Gardner compact.
Gardner compact has rave reviews but I'd like the ability to use a storm pole.
Jrc rova I've seen a carpology video on and thought it didn't look too bad
Other problem I have is my bedchair is an avid benchmark lite which is quite a small bed chair. Don't really want the cover touching the floor if it can be avoided.

Love the Gardner one.
Use it on its own in the summer as a duvet, and even used it in October when I went to France for the first couple of nights, before temps dropped a little too low (4 degrees) and I had to get the Snugpak out.

I use the Gardner compact on a Duralite (780 wide I think) and it's fine. Good coverage but not trailing on the ground.
