Hopefully something that dries straight away as well.
I like the Vass slip on shoes but I think they might absorb water in the mesh bit at the top..

apparently genuine Crocs are made with something anti bacterial that helps stop your feet from sweating and smelling

I bought the Navitas on Gerry's recommendation. Great bivvy shoes with a decent grip. I must be possible to find them even cheaper in an unbranded version.

Must say I haven't found that. My cheapies are "gumbies" from a local factory outlet at £6 a pair. They are a bit thin on the bottom but I only wear them round the bivvy. They beat a pair of socks on a wet cold night.

I use some garden shoes, they are quite heavy so stay in place when slipping them on and are robust enough to wear as a proper shoe if the banks are muddy, they are neoprene so can wade out, but alas they don't dry all that quickly and are quite expensive.

A word of warning re crocs. Be VERY careful if the ground underfoot is clay. They offer no grip or traction whatsoever. Ended up with permanent damage to my rotator cuff when I slipped on a little patch of clay coming out of the bivvy.

wet grass they are lethal too I have gone over to Navitas Weaves for this reason

A friend of mine slipped in crocs whilst fishing on wet dew in the grass, open compound fracture to the ankle and as far as I know has never been able to fish since - be careful chaps!!!

I have Crocs but never use them for fishing,they are lethal.I got some of the navitas weaves after recommendations on here and use these now.I remember my mates Croc coming off in the water and shooting off across the lake,it made me chuckle

Wet grass is a challenge for any footwear.

You can buy slip resistant crocs which come with a thicker sole. You can pick them up on amazon

Could always have your waders rolled down to the booth, feet in and pull up one strap. Do the other as you play the fish. Won't be at risk of slipping about or getting wet.

they are only slip resistant on things like tiled floors they have ZERO grip on anything that requires a tread type pattern I even bought a pair of the Croc 4x4 in the USA they are no good either

I think its obvious looking at the picture why the Navitas Weaves grip is so much safer by looking at the picture and surprisingly they ARE just as comfortable as my Crocs that I only use as slippers at home now

Ridge monkey shoes cos they have know other use unless you swim in them. But you wont slip the soles are brilliant

Yes, I walked in them myself, but my feet get a lot of moisture through the mesh. Especially in autumn, when humidity is high, it is very dangerous to wear such shoes since there is an increased risk of getting sick due to the cold. I love adidas yeezy shoes because my feet do not get tired in them, and for me, it is both stylish and comfortable. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, and there are more obvious convenient models, but so far, everything suits me. You can also write what shoes you prefer, and I think it will be helpful for all of us here since new options are always an extension of opportunities for a fisherman.
