Sounds like a need for a tapered line, if you can't use leaders or braid.

More to the point we all know now that NoJoakes works for Hull Angling Centre - he may even be Louis.

Cutting a long story short....

Ordered a pair of shorts on June 5th, arrived later that week, the shorts were too big, so called to arrange a return and exchange on 9th, was told someone would call me back as the mailorder side didn't have a working telephone. Called back on 13th and 14th and was told the same and was asked to email them, which I did. Called again and was told to post them back for an exchange. Posted back by recorded delivery on 18th which were signed for on 21st, nothing received so called on Friday 24th, spoke to a Louis, who promised a call back - no call. Spoke to Louis again today who was going to call me back "shortly" at 12 today, guess what - no call again!

I know a £40 pair of shorts isn't exactly order of the century, but seriously!! I certainly won't be making any large orders or come to think of it, any orders with them again! Blame covid, blame the post or the couriers, but a phone call costs nothing

Used it on an exposed nipple once in a bivvy, by Jove she woke up quick and I was not popular for at least an hour🥴😂

Sorry fella, I think you may have been. A true leather, from an angling perspective, has no scales hence their rarity, you can see the row of scales on this one along the top of the back. There's no evidence of the punctuated dorsal, or the other characteristics to suggest its a genetic leather 👍
