Tuftys and Coots these work pretty well and better as it it gets darker. But anything else swans mallards moorhens grebe just give you a look as if to say wow 🥱. Laser pens I've seen used on lakes and I'm pretty sure they must spook fish also.

Use these all the time on a hinge and although a 3am tinker and burred hook will test you I think it's worth the pain. Fishing a shallow silty lake and I'll always put half a folded bit of rig foam on covering the point. Just yesterday I had a mid twenty common and the hook point was still good. Very rare was like a double win that. Great hooks just kids gloves type stuff.

Last night I had Tescos hunters chicken bag of mixed veg and a garlic bread with a bottle of IPA, and it was spot on. But in all honesty it's the first time I've taking it with me for a year or so. Shepards pie is nice on a cold night or half a Piri Piri chicken. Worlds yer omelette really

Really good for the money comes with a proper outer groundsheet as well. only slight negative is the crisp packet type inner groundsheet and the poles on mine were a bugger to get apart when it was new. Also for summer use the one vent on the back is not massive and may not be as good as other bivvys with double vents . Never used mine in summer just some food for thought.

There was something on the news about Beavers last night. About how there ways are good for the waterways. Showing chewed trees etc and I could only think if this was deer doing this they'd be shot. Funny old world pays to be fluffy i guess.

Ferry lagoon Drayton Fen there's rspb shelter with a sign saying they've found the remains of Dalmation pelicans and white tailed eagles. Disappointed when I googled it and it wasn't spotty.

O2 will give you 25gb a month of free data roaming. Bresse region of France it was pretty crap signal most places in all honesty. Ski resorts probably have better masts etc.

My mk7 Powerporter I never tighten the front wheel on or the handles. I have bumped the front wheel out of the stays a couple of times. And had to unload the barrow and load again. But the cables and connectors have been spot on. I did have a tack weld go on the rear stay which was replaced under warranty. Apart from the tack welds there pretty rugged.
