Bad news is I was down to the last 3 left in the tub of my all-time favourite pop-ups, the original Nash Whisky Airball in 15mm, from circa 2006.....
Good news is I have just managed to acquire a full sealed tub that will keep me going for a good while....just broken the seal and the smell is unbelievably as good as it was some 15 years ago....
So......if you could get your hands on a pop-up no longer available, what would it be?

I have to say I agree with you, the Nash whisky, both boilies and pop ups are my all time favourite shop sold baits, the whisky really was a great attractor and I still use it in my own baits although not got much left.
Putting that aside the other stand out bait no longer available was also from Nash. The white chocolate pop ups caught me a lot of fish, I particularly liked the the 10mm ones as the top bait on snowman presentation.

I never did very well on the whiskey , although I was on an utter headbanger of a water at the time I used it. Maple 8 would be my choice

Original Grange. What a bait that was. Screamer baits smoked ham and onion oil was also very kind to me back in the day.

Just remembered there's a company called forgotten flavours who does all-sorts of pop ups from back in the day. Have a look, I'm sure he will do a whiskey

Trouble is there's whisky and Nash's whisky, I don't know what it was they had but it was something special attraction wise.
Have tried a few alternative whisky flavours and none match the catch rate of the Nash one.

Same here, clever marketing but sub-standard baits IMO.
I spoke with Max at Nash a while back and he stated how they still offer the 'original' whisky in large quantities direct from them. Not sure if it was the Whisky Oil Palatant (that I used to love is the S mix all season) though

Well I know I can put mine next to a tub of older IB's and can't tell the difference in smell
Don't confuse your sense of smell with that of a carp.
It is not just the smell, it is the chemical breakdown.

When you say "older" IB's, do you mean from the mid/late '90's and into the early part of the millennium?
Because there ain't many of them still around...

I really wanted to try go get the original recipe. My mate rolled thousands of tons of it. I said to him, come on you must know what it is. His answer was “you're joking aren't you, mark used to rip the labels off of the sacks so you'd didn't even know what you were using!” Clever Mark I say

We got on it after the other guys and some of the bailiffs at Farlows we're on it, we used to go to Marks house to pick it up hand rolled.
Reading a lot of Marks features when he came to the mainstream, you understand how much thought went in to it and it's creation.
Shame they went too big too soon, that recipe would be gold dust 👌

Heathrow baits Red Indians in 10mm were one of my all time faves or original Nutrabaits Pink Peppers thankfully I have recently hit upon a replacement favorite with equally as much confidence in a pot.

Those red Indians were bloody brilliant, such a shame Ian sold out to a numpty that had no clue at all about fishing or bait !
