I saw the shelf life particles in the tub the other week, after that week they said you could only purchase from retailers but there is none near me. They seem to have good deals on at times but never used them. Will keep an eye on this post see what others say.

I have used them a couple of times, decent quality etc. I still prefer to make my own as I can make it how I like, but can't complain with the products I have had

Used them a couple of times. Delivery is good, quality is acceptable at best imo (but does the job). Don't expect anything like the quality you'll achieve by doing them yourself mate.

Pay for what you get. Same as anything, cheap rubbish. Had a few lots, never again. Half of it floated on the second batch. I'd sooner use dynamite stuff off the shelf, now I get my bits off of Dan Kilgour, big dog particles. Dearer, but well prepped, with better quality ingredients in the mixes and have been very pleased since.

Odd to see the mixed reviews on here, as I say I only used them once or twice and didn't have any major issues, but also do prefer them when I make at home

I used them once when I didn't have time to prep them myself, I have to say the quality was poor compared to other prepared particularly I have bought in the past.

Was just about to ask the same questions. Plenty of mixed reviews, so might give it a miss. I did try making some myself at home, not sure if it was the ingredients I bought but they was filthy even after cleaning and created an awful scummy foam at the top, turned out like a big pile of dirty slop.

That's not accurate buddy. It says clearly on the FAQ page it'll last 5/7 days out of the freezer before it begins to turn, and directs to their other site carpparticles.co.uk for shelf life gear.

Tigers are probably the worst thing to buy pre done as they never slime up like when you do them yourself, and that slime is liquid gold

I've used them over the last year, can't say I've had issues with floating. Prices are good when buying through their deals, I've even had particle arrive still warm from the cooking process. Over all I've had maybe 90kg in the last year and will go back.

Especially as it saves me getting a ear bashing from the missus about stinking out the house with hemp and pigeon conditioner.

Don't really understand why anyone would need to stink the house out with hemp and pigeon conditioner , you don't actually need to boil either, just soak in boiling water in a cool box for 24 hours. No need for it to even enter the house

Not really, at least monster particle marketing is spot on to cause blind loyalty. Monster particle is the bottom of the pile when it comes to qaulity. Cook your own or pick a better company.

Granted poor example but for tigers, maize, and other seeds that still need a boil. Saves time and grief.

I haven't had an issue with it floating, maybe it was a bad batch. I do get the impression that people jump on the bandwagon of hating them even if people haven't used their products.

I got some recently - Hemp / Maize / Tiger mix and to be fair it was spot on. All cooked properly - hemp all split - nothing floated.
Only downside for me is that it is all drained and like people have said if you cook yourself you get all the lovely juice to use / add to a mix etc.

Between myself and friends we've had about 120kg over the last year from them. Never a bad batch.
The fact they use The smaller French hemp is better in my opinion. Looks a lot more like the tiny water snails in a lake for sure.

Ive been using monster particles a couple of years after i lost my hemp supplier. Ive only bought dry particles not the cooked stuff.
The hemp is superb. I'm still using whats left of last years and its still opening really well after a 24 hour soak and 20 minutes boil. Also been using their maples and tares. Spot on gear and decent price.
My mate orders there hemp and maizes prepared mixes and rates it very highly
Recently reordered all the above. Recommended.

Used to use these a bit until a lot of places down my way have started to ban particle, reason being people can get it so cheap now they are turning up with 10/20kg and putting it all in for no reason making the water quality go bad apparently so it's been banned
