Have a look at coast torches, I have got a HP7R which is mega bright easily does 200meters on focused beam and mega build quality. Head torch wise really rate Felix shadow master more really good red beam and mega bright main beam if needed.

Has anyone had anything from quality baits Tamworth? They are fairly close to where I work so could drop by and pick what I need up.

A bit off topic but having recently got some bees, and reading up on all things bees and honey most of the manuka honey imported is more than likely fake. Also a lot of the honey imported from outside of the EU i.e. China is actually just sugar syrup, if you go on Alibaba you can buy sugar substitute that is advertised is being able to pass all tests.

According to New Zealand's leading manuka association, 1,800 tonnes a year of the honey are now consumed in the UK each year, out of an estimated 10,000 tonnes globally. Yet production of the genuine stuff is set at just 1,700 tonnes.

With regards to fats does it also dependent on time of year, low fat in winter higher summer as digestion speeds up and slows down? What overall % would be good to aim for? 5% in winter to 10% in summer. I would imagine the natural diet of fish would normally be fairly low, so do they recognise it as a good food/energy source.

Thanks, so looking at WPC does that have similar properties to milk replacers for calf and lambs in relation to binding and other bait construction properties and fish attraction feeding?

With regards to the different types of whey available these day is there any benefit in using isolate or hydrolysate whey over whey concentrate WPC? There is obviously the cost factor as the more you process the higher the cost, do they have better rolling binding qualities?

WPC would contain more fats and sugars so is it better as it's more rounded. ££
Isolate higher protein content reduced fat and sugar content. £££
Hydrolysate has higher amino acid content ££££

Are you sure?
