A fly box will work
There's a brand called fox which is what I use for storing tied flies if you need one for storing loads of them.
Failing that just buy some filter tips and cut them up and then store them in the packets the hooks come in already

Done this for a while, works a treat- just don't get them wet else you'll have a packet of expanded cotton 😂

I've just got one of the ib hook boxes and Tbh I'm quite disappointed with the quality of it for the price, the catch isn't great and when compared to a normal fly box for a third of the price it really doesn't seem very good vfm at all
I just sharpen them and put them back in the packet?

Problem with that is they rattle about and knock the points making sharpening them a bit pointless (excuse the pun)

Do they really move about that much in those tight little packets though? Id hazard the sharpening has been taken too far if points are going over in a plastic packet. Plus a always give a little touch up when I put the bait on

I suppose it depends on how the packs are stored, how what they are stored in is handled, how many hooks are in the pack etc etc. I've only just really bothered to start sharpening properly so I've not stored them before, in the past I've just given them a run over with a stone once tied up it may well be another case of people solving a problem that doesnt really exist which is something we all know the tackle companies love to do but it can't hurt that for sure

I don't store sharpened hooks, I only sharpen them when they are going to be used in a rig, I do carry spare rigs in transparent pencil case, a small piece of pipe insulation on the hook doe's the job.

The handling is the issue for me, It wouldn't take much pressure to damage a super fine point against the shank of another hook.
If my rona test comes back positive I might sharpen some up and see if the points survive a good shake rattle and roll

I just leave a hook bead over the point and leave in the packet 👍🏻
I keep mine in old Korda kaptor cases, I managed to buy a few packs when the shops started selling them off.
Rubber earing backs off amazon in packs of 100 , sharpen them then just put them back in the packet

I have cheap zig foam that I use. Sharpen a bunch of hooks the line them up on a 1 inch section, then back in the tacklebox
