Honestly I can't remember, it's been a while since mines seen the light of day, wild camping doesn't happen so much anymore with wife and kids.
Are you thinking of a using a dirty water bottle, screwing it on top of said bottle and drinking straight from the filter? That always unsettled me not seeing the water clean before drinking. If you're on about my method then i never had issues even better i found filtering into a wide mouth nalgene.

Sawyer minis are great, I used to carry a dirty water Camelback esque bladder take the end off the pipe and push on the sawyer hang it in a tree and let gravity filter water into a bottle. Brilliant bit of kit.

Penetrating oil, i use WD40, let it sit for a couple of minutes. This happens to my landing net pole and in the past i've also put the joint between 2 bags of frozen peas and left it for 20 minutes, this combination has always worked for me.

I have the vass 175 salopettes and love them. Tough rubberised outer and quilted, not clued up on the jacket that matches but I rarely don’t take them.

So I picked a 52” up that I ordered from a local store yesterday. I’ve mainly used freestanding brollies and is there a knack or method to getting this one up quickly, my fast and light I seem to be able to setup quicker. That’s my only gripe, im impressed with it so far and for anyone wondering it easily fits in the side pocket of the TA slim quiver.

3d print example (cost of 26p in filament):
LINKY POO™
DJI offer this, which you could use with your action cam mounts:
LINKY POO™
Or 3rd party:

If you know someone with a 3d printer or have one yourself I’m sure there will be a hot shoe or a tripod mount for dead cheap. Third party or even DJI mounting options should exist but you’ll pay a premium.
Never tried this but it’s that light I’d imagine even some blue tack on a bucket could quite easily hold it up.

I’ve never filmed anything fishing wise but I use a DJI omso pocket 1 for family videos and chasing the kids around. Amazing bit of kit, image quality is decent, it’s stabilised, battery life is good the thing is so small you barely notice it’s in your pocket.
They can be had for like £100 second hand. The only thing it may struggle with is noise on filming at night.
