I want to incorporate pellets more into my fishing as think they get widely overlooked and certainly seem to on my syndicate. So next year I'm going to mix more pellet than boillie. I like the like of the baf betaine pellets but open to suggestions. I'll probably start using them around March/April. I've used your Normal trout and halibut etc but interested to see what people have success with.

I get mine from Wraysbury baits - their bloodworm pellets or mixed micro pellet mix is excellent. Their bigger pellets are great too.

Just get bog standard cheapo trouties mate. They are as effective as any of them in my experience. Coppens or Skrettings. Both decent.

I use either the dna crayfish mini mix or a mix of krill 2.3mm and bloodworm 2.3mm pellet, seems to do very well

seconded, i wouldn't waste money on fancy pellets, just a good quality troutie from an animal feed store. You can always spice them up with a liquid food to personalise them yourself. Betastim is my favourite. I used to use DNA betastim pellets until i realised i could make my own a dam sight cheaper.

Pellets are a funny one, some waters i find they are a complete waste of time and others they are a game changer. I think a lot depends if you are fishing for pellet bred fish or not. Thats my experience anyway.

Always done ok with mixed size halibuts but to be honest wouldnt mind using any mix of pellets as long as there is some fishmeal based ones in between and are fresh.

Trout & Halibut pellets will be fine, especially when the water temperatures rise.

Id agree with what been said I have never found anything particularly better then trout and halibut pellets. especially if you are baiting with them.

I find that using a mixture of sizes helps, just because of different breakdown times. For me- 4, 8 & 10mm is what I go with when baiting.

Skretting Elite trout pellets are as good a 'standard' trout pellet as any I have used

That's what I use. Carp love them. No need for these fancy pellets imo, most are just over-sprayed anyway.

Skrettings std pellet, break down well over your spot and micros work well for fishing solid bags.

Only additives I've used in the past were for colour.
