Recently purchased a couple of pots of these as my nose would not let me leave the tackle shop otherwise. They remind me of the old Refresher Sweets. I also managed to accidentally drop a small amount of booster into my face mask and now every shop smells delightful
Obviously I understand that this has no bearing on if it will be successful. I just wanted to ask if anyone has had any success on them?

Buoyancy is *****, bought 12s and didn't hold up a size 6 Ronnie. Bought 16s and they keeled over after 16 hours.

A friend of mine has been doing pretty well on the 12mms in solid bags on my syndicate, that well I've ordered the full set myself

Sticky pop ups have always been crap. The pop ups do make great Wafters

I've done well on the 12mm, and had no issues at all with buoyancy.
Even at the end of the sessions they float well.

I was hoping the 14mm Fluros would hold up a short Stiff Hinge Rig? I will look at drilling and plugging them with cork to increase buoyancy, although this shouldn't really have to be done

I wouldn't be confident leaving them out for any length of time Scott. Be ok for your standard pop up rigs but Ronnies and hinge rigs

Get on the original Mulberry from High Attract Hookbait......12s are more than buoyant enough. Has all the original Hutchinson flavour in the right quantities

That did make me laugh, just because you said it.
16 hours, longer than most will ever need but then again I suspect someones fishing a very special place

Maybe on your water you can recast often without cutting out your chances.
Other waters, Sometimes you have to leave your hookbaits out for several days, due to tactics like less disturbance in the swim, whilst everyone is thrashing the water to a foam at the other end

no but with winter coming rigs could be out 13/14 hours overnight a consideration to be taken into account

Anyone struggling for buoyancy, instead of buying cork separately, just use the foam sticks from your zig rig/kits. I find it gives me more buoyancy than the cork i have
How similar in scent / flavour are these to sticky's 'signatures'

There is defo a hint of Marzipan about these, I agree. Possibly some Almond flavouring? In the booster I also detect a creamy after taste too, Possibly Scopex?
I personally think a pop up should last at least 12 hours on any rig straight from the tub ESPECIALLY when paying £7.25 a tub! I'll plug mine with cork and then use the booster to help flavour the cork

Impulse baits, Mk2s are your best bet. This is the pop up the companies have tried to copy, it's been on sale since 2011 but the recipe was in use by me from 2003.
The pop ups will stay up for 48hrs-72hrs at least depending on size.

I've found this with alot of sticky pop ups. From my experience have found the bouyancy poor and nconsistant. I'm now using DNA pop ups and they are superb.

As has been said, the buoyancy leaves a hell of a lot to be desired, and that's an understatement.

Not very buoyant as others have said. Find I have cork them to last the night popped up on a ronnie rig.

I really cant understand why sticky have got it so wrong with their pop ups in terms of buoyancy. For me personally, I dont want to be messing around drilling bits of cork into pop ups. For such a high quality bait and at the price i want to be able to get one straight out the pop knowing it will hold my rig up. Id much rather have to trim a bit off the pop up to get it just right if required.

IMHO Blame the ‘field testers' if they had done their roles right, they would have moaned about to the makers saying the buoyancy was crap, were more like wafters after a few hours!
Re-tweak it, get it spot on, then put it out to market punters
Long before all the negative fieldback on forums

Oh yes, I'm well aware of that.
I know what goes on in the real world, is very different to the virtual world and keeping sponsors supplied with photos.
