Primus litech about 35 quid on ebay. There is nothing better. Sounds expensive but i've had mine over 20 years and still going strong.

Johnson Ross sell some of their stuff but don't seem to do merlin. I got a spool of merlin from somewhere not long ago but for the life of me i can't remember where but i suspect it was old stock.

its a watercraft booking..........you are just booking to be on the lake. when you get there you can choose any swim you like as long as it is free.

Season ticket holders have to log on to reserve a swim. The locals seem reasonably friendly and helpful. The lake is right next to raf fairford and can get noisy the anglers not so much. To be honest i think it wouldn't be a bad shout for a winter venue as it has some decent winter form and like most places i doubt it would get too busy in winter.

used to have 3 sportex rods . 2 had single legs on the tip 1 had double leg. the 2 with single leg rings were MUCH nicer in every way.

much more to the original robin red than that.
I was a big nutrabaits user from when they started in the 1980's and all through the 90's but the one bait I couldn't grt on with was enervate. couldn't buy a bite.
