I have decided it is time to retire my trusty 12 year old Greys Prodigy rods and treat myself to some shiny new ones.
I'm looking for around 3.5 test curve rods and to spend around £600 for the three.
I know this is not going to get me the best rods in the world but all I'm after is a rod that will get the rig out 100 yards or so and play the fish nicely under the rod tip.
Any suggestions?

Greys aircurves around your price. Just getting used to my 3.5's
Free Spirit S-Lites. Really underated rods . I've got the 13ft 3.5's which I actually preferred to the Harrison aviators. Tackle Box do them with a bit of discount for sets (or they did).

The other rods that somebody has recommended are the Diawa Longbows. Any thoughts on these?

I'd recommend TE's to anyone looking at a 3.5.
Think they're 3.4 and cast very long but still great feel on a decent size fish

Forget te,s if you want nice under the tip .The fact is they aren't despite what some people say .It's a strange delusion they are sufferiing really don't get it..No powerfull quick tapered rod is good under the tip but it's become tarty to have te,s .Hated mine got rid after one trip

Harrison Acurix 3lb.
I have got the 2 3/4lb and can just about scrape 100 yards on a good day, but im naff at casting - i should think the 3lbtc would be perfect.
They aren't a casting tool by any stretch, but a beautiful balanced rod.
For a rod nice to play fish on forget these fast tapered 3.5lb options.....although, that said i did find the torrix in 3 1/4 soft.
There was a set of Acurix on the bay recently, looked mint and decent sets of torrix's crop up also.

If you need to fish over 100 yards in all conditions I'd say you are going to have to sacrifice some fish playing action unless you're an above average caster. Particularly if you're fishing 0.35 line and above with larger hookbaits.
If it's just over 100 yards you might get away with it but if you want 120-130 at times you're going to need a bit of backbone imo. Nothing worse than being a little way off the feeding fish.

12'6 TEs have an awesome playing action🤷🏿♂️ and can fish margins to 140 yrds🤷🏿♂️

I think I have narrowed it down to the S-Lite 3.5 or the s'liv.
Not 100% sure what the difference is between the 2 so I'm going to ring Tackle Box and see what they say.

For anyone to write that and for anyone to agree with that I'd suggest you've exonerated Esox, unless you fish for bigger fish in general .
If you'd added 'for a reasonable distance casting rod' I'd probably have agreed with you, but you didn't. I wouldn't even say a 3lb Aviator has a 'awesome' playing action for the average U.K fish though it is a great rod, the 2.75lb however.
I have 13' 3.25lb Torrix, lovely when a fish decides to give you a bit, but a lovely playing action for sub 20lb, no.

My latest rods are Rod Hutchinson Dreammakers 13ft 3lbs they are perfect for my current fishing. Can cast a 3.5 oz lead but are not. overly stiff and can play a 20lb fish nicely with plenty of backbone in reserve. Heavy test curves and fast actions should be reserved for extreme range necessity ,and very large fish only. Horses for courses. Don't expect a 3.75 tc rod to play a small fish under the rod tip. Some of those 15 lbers that are spawned out will give you a run around that a 35lb fish will just not do.

No but they say they are on 40t carbon which is about as good as it gets
I'm certainly not dissapointed with the looks or the action. I'm told Max Cottis is behind the design.

I've got a set of the S Lite ‘ive. I initially thought they were like pokers and didn't like them. But then I realised that was because I haven't owned any carp rods for over 10 years, and I was comparing them to float rods and 1.75/2.25tc river rods so no wonder
I used them a few more times and really like them now, can't tell you what they're like to play fish on cos I haven't had any yet
They've very, very nice rods though.

3.5 S-Lites ordered and arriving Monday. Looking forward to giving them a spin.
My very old Greys Prodigys have served me well but I'm hoping the S-Lites will be a step up and help me with my dodgy casting.
