Second gardner hooks and angling iron They are sharpe but don't go blunt after one fish. Last year I had 8 fish on one hook 👍🏻

J precision hooks are the only hooks I use they are hand sharpened and I have never had a blunt one. They also actually last ages, get yourself a decent pillar file and you can check them after a fish and give them a little tickle if required, they end up lasting ages. Awesome hooks, great patterns.. I went round in circles for years on hooks until I found them, not used anything else in 2 years.

I've never had a problem with Gardner Muggas myself, used them for a lot of fish, and in weedy and snaggy waters where I need to put the pressure on.
My other choice of strong hook is a straight pattern, Solar 101's

Same here. Since I tried the J Precision hooks a few years ago haven't felt the need to look else where. Very good hooks, reasonably priced and good service. Seriously sharp

Using ESP at the minute, classic and grippers. I am fond of the Brennan barbel hooks.

Drennan Specialist Wide Gapes and had fish up to upper 20's without a problem.
not in the least bit fashionable and shiny but doesnt appear to bother the fish.
Or give Bank Tackle a look, Size 6 chods are what i would call on the large size but decent out of the packet and sharpen well

Muggas in a 4 for Ronnie generally at the moment, very interested to try the ESP Trighammer now though.

Rigworx carp tackle have a decent range of hooks, slightly thicker gauge than you get with the big brands but I've never had one bend out or break, and they're as good as IB and JP with a little rub up with a file!

I do agree they are sharp and very good, but on one lake i fish has a lot of gravel and it dont take long to turn over the points on sharpened hooks in general, i decided in the end to stick with hooks out of the packet as it were as i felt they got turned over a lot less and were therefore more likely to hook the fish . Straight out the packet i like atomics or gardner mostly as others have said they are quite resililiant.
