Yes I have it.
I have put it up in garden and seems really good.
I wanted something with some height as I'm 6'4".
I have the green version and it's not aquatex but seems a good quality nylon.Im doing 48 hrs in it so will report back how it was .

I have ordered and paid for the DPM version.
They are due in by the end of this month, so hopefully I'll have it soon after.
Will let you know how good/bad it is when I get to use it.

I've just taken delivery of mine and set it up. Got to say I'm massively disappointed. I know it's a cheaper brand and it really does feel it.
Material is like the bivvies you see in decathlon or the fishing section at go outdoors.
Mine once set up has to have the storm poles attached other wise the peak sags down and looks awful. My intention was to use this stripped back as a lighter shelter, but it seems the storm poles would have to be included.
The stitching is all over the place and fraying in allot of places. And to top it all off there are small holes in the material near some of the poles.
To be quiet honest if you have got one on pre order I would try and get your money back. Mine is going to be boxed and sent back asap.

Just got back from 48 hrs with my green quest outer block bivvy.
These are my thoughts;
I like it,it goes up very easy and although it doesn't have the luxurious feel and light blocking qualities of aquatex type materials.,I quite like these modern lightweight nylons...they cut down on weight and are extremely waterproof and much better than they were 15 yrs ago and it's equal quality and possibly slightly thicker than the nylon tempest V2 brolly I owned briefly ( too low).I took my new wychwood compact flat bed which fitted easily ( brilliant for the money).
I didn't have any issues with the peak/ front...it's designed to slope down to stop water pooling and everything felt taut.The storm poles don't effect the height of the front but I don't think that's their purpose anyway.The zip in groundsheet was great and really liked it no hassles.
I realise this is sounding like an advert but for me it seemed fine.
If I would change anything I would have preferred a flatter back so I could have pushed bedchair further back to provide more space at front and perhaps have the front panel more vertical and a bit more forward... although I'm used to 1.5 man shelters and normally use titan t4000/ full size Pioneer as I'm a big bloke a one man is noticeably smaller although the height was great and I probably take more stuff than necessary.ine came with vapour thing and skull cap and fitted these at home and left them on.

Sounds like they are a bit hit and miss but here are my thoughts. They are £300 all in for a reason. Mines is going back next week. Put it up in garden and the tab that goes from bivvy to storm pole came away, one of the plastic surrounds on the female part on one of the frame poles cracked. As said the stitching is all over the place, the storm poles are rather flimsy and think they would shorten in a breeze as they dont lock very tight. The ground sheet is not heavy duty as they state and seems a bit too big, i also dont like the faff with the toggles at the front, unnecessary. Put my Wychwood standard size bed in and it just fits length ways but only leaves 2ft from edge of bed to the bottom of the door, however because of the angle of slope of the infill panel it almost makes that part of the bivvy unusable. Probably more usable room in the supa brolly i had.
Good points are you get a lot for the money even if the quality i questionable, full infill and scull cap, its light, goes up quickly, and i like the fact the ground sheet zips in. Vents front and rear are also nice as is the decent head room for the taller or less agile angler.
It wouldn't have taken much to make this a great bivvy, flatten the back so bedchair pushes back, reduce the angle of slope of the infill and add 2 inches to the length of the tabs for the top,of the storm poles so the can be stiched to the bivvy properly rather than just 5mm being attached.

You could get the cyprinus typhoon for 399 delivered. I love mine I'm under it right now I've not bothered with groudsheet or vapour shield the only thing that does get on my tits is that it's not fitted with anti twist poles but other than that I can't fault it. I'm out in 40mph winds at the moment and its solid. It's nice thick material keeps you nice and cool keeps the light out for the money I think its great will it last I reckon so my other cyprinus bivvy the compact dpm one has never let me down and that's had loads of abuse

Take the shops profit margin off the prices and they are similar to Cyprinus's prices. If Cyprinus sold through dealers, then their prices would be the same as Trakkers.

Have to agree that looking at those photos...that's shocking quality!
It definitely doesn't look right at the front,mine is really taut.
I have just put mine up in the back garden so I could send some photos to a mate and I have noticed one of my plastic collars has cracked and when I pulled one of the front arms out the elastic came out like in your photo☹️...so perhaps not quite as good as I thought.
I didn't keep the box so not sure about sending back and will probably sort it out myself but if it looked like yours I'd definitely be sending it back.

Yep that gauls me to Gerry. Doesn't make any sense at all about price difference in Europe to us. Makes me feel even more like they are pulling our pants down now.
You would think with all that's going on at the moment. They would have a little sympathy for all of us that have lost our jobs and struggling out there and drop their silly prices. But some how I doubt it

The trakker T100 would be the best choice if I go fishing alone, but sometimes the daughter also comes along (8years) so it must fit 2 bedchairs and my dog.

So after sending back the quest outer block I went and purchased my other alternative which was the sonik axs bivvy. Which apart from not coming with a vapour shield and skull cap is almost the same bivvy (design wise) and at a similar price point.
The quality is night and day compared to the quest. The material is quality, very similar to the material I've had on previous chub vizor and vizor lite I've owned. The frame is alot more sturdy, it holds it shape without need for the storm poles.
The ground sheet is better and fit rather than being baggy. The door is nice and wide. The poles are anti twist which is nice. The back is flatter so the bed can go further back making more usable space at the front.
The only thing that you could argue the quest had over the sonik is it was slightly higher (though not 150cm as stated). The door on the quest was 125cm and the sonik is 120cm. I'm short so little difference to me. Also I think the quest is lighter but that would be down to the lighter material used.
Overall the sonik is a much better alternative.

I wanted quest to do well as i hoped it would create a sensible price for all manufacturers and i was looking to buy one once the quality had been established. Luckily i won a t100 with all the extras so its a moot point now. I will try to do review of the t100 once ive had time to use it a bit.

I talked my pal out of the sonik axs and said to him to get the quest block as he ideally wanted the head room. I feel pretty bad now as he has had to send his back due to quality issues....

OMG, I saw the pictures at first of the Quest and I loved it.
I live in Holland, so buying a bivvy online from an other country is always tricky.
But when I read these posts I am shocked about the quality of the Quest.
I have a Trakker V2 brolly with infill etc and I love it, but was thinking that the Quest was a good replacement if the V2 was end of life....
So I stay with my V2 and maybe in the future the Sonik ASX will be a candidate, because that one I can check or buy at my local shop.

Just bought a 2nd hand unused Quest Outer Block for €200
What a nice Brolly and quick to set up, ideal for 1 day / 1 night sessions.
It is now up and we are going to fish again for 3 nights, I can not say anything wrong about it, the cloth is good, it is very stable and looks nice
The Chub Airbrid 2 man will also stay, the wife,son, daughter will spend the night in the Chubnd I in the Quest Outer Block.
If I go fishing alone at night with my son or daughter I take the Chub and for day sessions the Quest Outer Block, finally our search for bivvies is over.

We see there are a couple of negative comments regarding the Outer Block bivvy which have been resolved with each individual.
For any potential new customers reading this post, like all large shipments from China (yes all big fishing brands are manufactured here ), some may have minor issues. This is completely normal and I'm sure the big brands have the same small issues as well.
So far we have sold approx 350 of this style of bivvy with great success and only very few issues which were resolved quickly either by sending a replacement or refunding in full.
We are only a small family run business and work as hard as we can to make the bivvies the best we can, as well as having a good price point. 350 sales of this model may not sound a lot but it is for us when we sell to you directly and not through the shops.
In response to the Quest Outer Block bivvy in Green bivvies material being low quality. Its 210D thickness Polyester with 10000HH. It's not the same as Aquatex however exactly the same as the Trakker 100T.

) The DPM material is like Aquatex and fully breathable as well as having 20000HH. The inside of the material is so dark, its pitch black inside even on a sunny day

Honest question Matt. Does anyone from Quest lay eyes, unpack, set up etc any of the kit between it leaving the factory in China and arriving at the customers house?
You can say what you like about them being built at ‘the same factory' but I'm yet to see a brand new tempest covered in holes with stitching like it's been done while skiing down a mogul course.

There is not a problem with this batch of bivvies and therefore the reason why we felt we needed to reply to this thread. Incorrect comments like yours are sending out the wrong message to potential new customers. We are only a small family business and this is our livelihood at risk. We have only had a very small percentage which is normal on most large shipments. Over 350 sold with a handful of problems and many other positive reviews online.

We do not set up the bivvies after they have come from China. There is strict quality control before they leave the factory. If we were to set them up to check them over, they would, therefore, look used and unsalable as new.
The bivvy shown in this thread with some machine holes and poor stitching was 1 bivvy out of 350 from this particular shipment.
We do try our very hardest to ensure the quality is the best we can offer and will continue to do so. If we didn't there would be no business for us. This is why we offer the guarantees so customers have that peace of mind.

So here is an honest open review
I am currently sitting in my bivvy during a heavy downpour without the skull cap on to make sure it doesn't leak. Well it leaks, a lot!
Thank god I did as I'm off to France next week and we are due storms but let's look at the pros and cons of this bivvy.
The material is better than lots of bivvies I have seen, the size and height is perfect, the strength of the bivvy is also very good and all the zips are good quality. The design is brilliant and up til the point it rained I really liked this bivvy. But the water is leaking in through several areas on its first ever outing so it's got no chance of surviving one winter. I am sending it straight back Monday but it's such a shame as it was almost perfect for me

Have already done 11 night sessions with my Quest Outer Block 10,000, had about 3 heavy rain nights and had NO water inside, (i got the skull cap but on the sides/windows no leaks) so still happy with mine.
I have used mine twice. Once for a uk 48 hour sesh and once for a week in italy. I have a wide bedchair so not much room left at the front as its not a flat backed bivvy. It goes up easy, love the zip in ground sheet and it was well sturdy in 2 bad stormy nights. It was a lot easier to get out of than my M3 due to the increased height and the proximity of the bedchair to the front of the bivvy. Overall its no good for the long sessions (for me). Just not enough room. Perfect for short sessions tho. Im going for an R series XL if they ever come back into stock for my longer sesssion bivvy, more room is more comfort for me.
There was talk of a full overwrap for the quest which would add a bit more depth but its just a shame that the layout is so space wasteful.
Had no leaks during torrential downpours but plenty condensation where the vapour shield dont cover. As said, great for short sessions only (for me)
