I used to have a cut out of that exact same material for my bivvy table for France.

You used to be able to pick up rolls of it in pound stretcher or home bargains, had it on my car dash as well.

Get the idea but not for me, definitely up there with the Nash path

£20 for something I can get in B&M/Poundshop for a fraction of the price?

seen it all now, and 20 quid! Wow. Literally get these in B and M for like 3 quid.

They probably have 15 or so consultants on board but it reality it's a one man band with a big fat Mrs who sits on a sewing machine in the dining room when not at the bingo hall.

I use something similar on my van dashboard and cost me a quid form poundland years ago. Keeps my coffee from flying all over.

Cannot see why I would ever need one for my bivvi....however if they bring a camo version out I may be tempted

For me nothing will ever beat the Bank Bug Scooop.......with the strapline "LOAD/LOCATE/LAUNCH"........(should it not be locate/load/launch anyway....? )

For those that don't know this product was a baiting spoon specifically designed to fill a spomb.....I kid you not.....but hang on, surely this is no ordinary baiting spoon, how can it be when Bank Bug proudly state on their website....."When the design was finalised, we invested in CAD drawings and sent them to a government funded university"........ .............it also claims that is is both round AND square bucket friendly....truly groundbreaking....

Great bit of kit. To protect the bivvy groundsheet I use an Amtico tile I "borrowed" from a tile and carpet shop. And it's green!! LOL

If you put anything in the bag you can't close the legs for transport, it comes in a bag so you have to empty it to get it in the bag anyway, then you need another bag for the stuff you might decant into it when you get there.

At least when it's up it's a nice table with useful storage right?

I have got a 10mx10m square of that stuff. I use it on the lawns to encourage the grass to grow without leaving a shadow of dead grass when I take it up. Sunlight and air can penetrate so it can (should) also be used as a ground-friendly groundsheet if cut to size. It came from a local market garden and cost £20!

I though the bog roll bags were a bit OTT at the time, certainly blow my zip and seal bags out of the water. Saying that a bog roll bag looks like a decent bit of kit compared to some of these

I think these paths could be missing a bit of fencing and some hanging baskets, make it a bit more homely...

I remember these as being pants as the gas cylinder is supposed to be kept in a pouch below the table where the cooker is supposed to go. Any cylinder below full might struggle to keep the gas going as i thought gravity and pressure was the best way to keep cookers working at full blast, but by having the cylinder below the cooker, gas is working against gravity

Yes, casting skills, the situation somebody who's learnt their ability over the years attains through effort, not off the shelf or heaven forbid, not fished recklessly just to get a bite. But yes, "distance rod rests" if you need to.
I've seen the tree ornaments you describe sadly, but once you've moved on from the nod puddles for pot noodles there's a better standard of etiquette and knowledge shown.

I've been fishing for 40 years so as well as having a fair bit of bankside etiquette I have also pretty much figured out casting but would that stop me using distance sticks to aid my own ability/accuracy, absolutely not. As Yonny said, people have been clipping up for years, not to mention walking their rods down the bank to a strategically placed bivvy peg before "wraps" were a thing.....are they all Pot Noodles as well?

And tree ornaments have never been exclusive to day ticket waters, you don't need to be a noddy to misjudge a cast fella.....

I can't find who makes them but you can get these little cups for your rods when they are resting up against your bivvy, they fit to the bivvy pegs. Same company makes a bucket to **** in for £50

Yeah hydre were just doing the toilet seats I think but it's them who make the rod but cups. Their pod looks interesting but it looks like it's never going to see the light of day unfortunately.

I bought the hydre loo bucket which is excellent. They kindly sent me one of the butt cup things for free, which I threw straight in the bin. Total waste of time, money and plastic.
