Having just purchased a van, has anybody got any links or can point me in the right direction with what ramps people use with their vans for just wheeling the barrow up

Bike ramp is what I use after learning the hard way using a timber board and barrow slipped off put a big scratch in bumper and damaged the carp porter 24v one

Go to your local metal merchant, I got a piece of ally checker board 4 foot by 1 foot, they even bent the sides up 2" so it forms an 8" wide channel for the tyre to run up. Drilled a hole so it fixes to the racking when not in use with a butterfly bolt, plenty of grip even when wet muddy, Cost me a tenner.

If you can try and get a metal Kwikstage scaffold board , I use a 6 foot one and have cut an angle at one end . It sits perfectly on the rear bumper ( Vauxhall Vivaro ) They are extremely strong and have a non slip surface .

transit connect for me too and I use an old floor joist cut to length , used cut down plank before , works just fine

If your van has a bolt on tow ball, you can remove the ball and make a bracket that the ramp can fix too.
I have the bike ramp with the 3 plastic coated fingers, that clip on the tow bar bracket, no more falling off.
