After having lots bed chairs and good bags to ss2 sleep systems!
Gone back to using old beds and bags but now decided could do with spending some good money and getting a Goodun for my self!
Don t want anything Massive as want to use my wychwood D ploy when go on my own and still brand new in box bought it over 2 years ago 🤨
When take son use my 2man so not a Problem then!
Which one would you go for and why??
Comfy bed please as joints muscles ache shed loads with illness got, but one able fold down nice on my fat boy barrow 👍

I had been using the fox mk2 flatlier for the last 4 years and found it great pretty light weight for a sleep system . Then back end of last when fox released them the new flatliner sleep system . I decided on one of the 6 leg 3 season flatliner system after seeing one in the flesh and done around 12 nights on it so far and very happy with it more padded mattress on it over the mk2 flatliter . I also did look at the fox Duralite sleep system and that looked decent quality but was not quite long and wide enough for my liking . But if you wanted a more compact sleep system that would be more ideal over the fox flatliner sleep system

Been using mk2 flatliter for last 3 or 4 years and cannot fault it. I have the compact and I am 6'1. Newer systems seem very heavy ?

No good for the nights though with that stupid built in pillow, I binned it off and got a Fox Flatliner and Ventec bag, best nights kip I have ever had fishing and do 7 nights straight through on it several times a year.
Only downside is the weight however, on the barrow or straight out of the van is a doddle.
Longest I have ever owned a Bedchair and had it around 4 years and have just changed the elastic for paracord.

Mine did !! and I just unzipped it and threw it in the bin

Nash Indulgence system for me have tried loads of bed chairs and sleeping bags and with out doubt the Nash system in my eyes is far superior than anything else i have used in over 50 years of fishing as they say you get what you pay for.

Indulgence is brilliant. I have the 5 season one and what I like is it is a duvet that is on top. Sleeping bags seems to not like me at all... I toss and turn crazy before I fall asleep so it always ends up tearing on the side stitching. Indulgence however you directly on top of the mattress with the duvet on top.. Never had problems with tears or hinges... This is one Nash got spot on... Won't go wrong if one purchase this 👍👍

I've had an indulgence sleep system and a solar sleep system. For me the solar is much better. I find it warmer, roomier and firmer.
Still using my JRC lightweight Cocoon bedchair coupled with my Aqua U/J Carp Duvet. Both 20 and 16 years old respectively. Works for me, lightweight compared to a lot of more modern stuff so I stick with it.
Because I don't really look at bed and systems I'm a bit behind the curve, but didn't one of the first Nash systems get a bit of a bad rep ? Cold n draughty?

I prefer a separate bag and bed.
In summer I don't always sleep in a sleeping bag, often just laying on top of my JRC Levelbed.
In winter I use my Morpheus Extreme sleeping bag, with a cover on top of my bed.
I've forgotten the last time I was really cold in winter, but in summer I do get too hot.

If you want warmth, comfort, sensible height good add ons like a waterproof shroud you can't beat a Nash 5 season indulgence wide boy ss3. If you are going to be short session/mobile fishing its not the one, unless you can drive to your swim, but for longer sessions particularly in winter can't beat it.
I bought a Trakker rlx superlite and a Trakker 365 sleeping bag, I can zip the inside out turning it from a 5 season to a 3 season for different times of the year
100% separate bag & bed. The only sleep system I ever felt close to separates was the one on the Fox Flatliter MK2 series of beds. Being zipped on around the edges made it feel like a proper bag. With separates you can then use what is best for you personally. Sometimes the beds in the system are spot on but the dedicated bag/cover is not as good as a different sleeping bag which may suit your heat preferences/inner lining type/etc or your body shape better.

Sometimes add the trakker fleece overblacket in cold spring and early autumn. Height of summer just the trakker blanket. In winter I use a 5 season trakker armo peachskin and the fleece over blanket warm as toast. The bed with new cord as good as new.

A few years later ungraded to the benchmark and that's been very good.
You can get good bags, bedchairs on the other hand are more tricky to get it right, id like to look at the Solar as people do say that's superb.
For me a sleep system would be a step backwards and you would have two potential problems.

Ive got a Nash 5 season SS3 system. It's great. Nice thick mattress that goes completely flat and firm enough that I can sleep on my front. Only bed that I've used that I've been able to do that comfortably. Use it through the winter and never been cold. Zip off the top layer in the summer.
Either I'm incredibly strong, or they are not as heavy as everyone goes on about. Not as heavy as my old wychwood tactical and Trakker big snooze and thermal cover, and much more comfortable.

It is sold as a sleep system but is Solar bedchair and sleepbag not separate? (sleeping bag not zipped in bedchair)
I am also for Bedchair and sleeping bag apart, you also lose an extra layer (where you lie on) when you have a sleep system.

Oh, that's a tough one. But I think I'd stick to a sleeping bag. I'm actually thinking of going fishing soon, and I'm looking to get myself a new sleeping bag. The Snugpak Techlite sleeping bag is really cool, but damn it, it's so expensive. Oh, I'm also looking for a pillow that doesn't go flat. Does anyone know where I could get a similar sleeping bag to the one from Snugpak and a pillow, but for cheaper? If yes, please don't hesitate to share them with me! Looking forward to hearing from you!

Nash 5 season Indulgence sleep system is by far the best I've ever used. I can't ever see myself using a conventional bag again. I would be interested to see if anyone can produce a lightweight system that could match the comfort. warmth. and versatility of the Indulgence.as it weighs a ton.

Initially I thought a Sleep system made perfect sense
and I bought one but after using it for a fair few sessions I decided the disadvantages far outweighed the advantages and sold it
and I would never ever !! buy another sleep system

Same here couldn't live without my mf60 wideboy 5 season system. Unfortunately its heavy and bulky as hell but so comfortable and warm. Prefer sleeping on that then my own bed 😂😂😂 Mind you probably weighs more then my bed lol

I broke my indulgence the adjusters broke so bought a Cyprinus one 5 season it's ok not like an indulgence though

Did you break the leg adjusters?
One of mine broke and nash sent me 2 x full feet with adjusters. Still have them both if i can dig them out of garage happy to send you 1 if you pay the postage. Thats if it will fit mind you. Pm me if you want it

No mate it was the actual adjuster that set the head rest just whacked it on eBay and got another one to much faff in replacing them

As for me, I'm more about sleep systems. It's always more comfortable and healthier for your back. I've spent a lot of nights under the sky, so I know what I'm saying. Tbh, during such trips, I sometimes miss my lovely bed, which I've been looking for so long and finally found on https://bedselection.co.uk/. I have problems with my back, so it was really tough to find a suitable mattress for me. I've read some guides and have chosen the proper one. So I always try to take care of my back, even if I go overnight fishing. Health is the most valuable thing we have.

Both sleep systems and seperates are versatile , it's whatever you find best. I far prefer a sleep system ,I find it more comfortable and plenty warm enough. I use the 5 season Nash one, and have a chub bedchair cover for the depths of winter . My SS gives me everything I need for 12 months if the year ,just as a bed and bag seperate setup will if you have the right bag(s).
Just to prove we are all different I HATED my Nash SS
in theory it sounded wonderful and I could not wait to get one but the reality was quite different
its never in a million years gonna be as good as a separate bag and bed IMHO I have had lots of beds and bags before and since all brilliant

Has anyone else found the Solar SP c-tech memory foam sleep system to be cold too? I feel the cold nowadays and it went to about 4-5 degrees I think and I was cold with both layers on. I think my trakker 365 is warmer than the Solar bag.
