I'd be surprised if it wasn't more than surgical elastic of a certain size? Find out what that is and you'd probably be able to buy it in bulk on ebay?

What size did you go for? Could do with some myself

Mine snapped today, where are people getting spare elastics from, even if this means using a different brand to Atomic.

Exactly what I've just done an hour ago.
Several different sizes and lengths available so should be easy to find some to suit.

I have always got the surgical elastic from eBay for years. Very cost effective

Anyone know the inner diameter for Atomic elastic?

I brought some last week of the atomic site go on carp websites and tackle dealers hope it helps

Tenuous but a link none the less. I use a old Trev Tomlin Carp King catty, I had to find some knew elastic, its so old I dont think the make exists anymore..anyway I digress. I measured the inner and outer od and went to find some what I thought would be catty specific elastic. After endless searching for slingshot and catty elastic the green colour of some exercise elastic caught my eye as it was virtually identical. Ordered some up and yes, you guessed it, absolute match. That particular elastic is colour coded based on strength....the old TT elastics were also colour coded....what are the chances!

Cheers, I've ordered some 3mm ID, 6mm OD elastic off ebay, let's see

Any news on this guys, thought id be sneaky and see what size is correct, the atomic website charges more for postage than the elastics..

I've attached the one I refer to below and it seems a good fit. Not used it yet though.

Interested to know what after-market stuff people are getting - the last couple of lots of Atomic stuff and gone very dis-coloured, white. And look like they may potentially get brittle in due course!

It's weird though, the eBay "exercise machine" stuff I bough on eBay starts well then that suddenly started to melt, like rubber sometimes does, to my ESP pult. It's almost like it reacted to the brass fixings? Anyone else had anything like this?

yep the stuff i had on a gardner catapult did that, but it had been in the shed for 8 months, i assumed it was damage from sunlight.
