Obsession with carp and in pursuit of the largest, are my top two. I've also always enjoyed Tim Paisley books. Carp season is one I've read a few times over the years.

One of the things I absolutely love about this forum are the wealth of memories we can tap into, I've recently been reminded in another thread of another worthy of dusting off and that's Jim Gibbinson's book from back in the 70's simply entitled "Carp"

Watched a few of those carp fever ones at the time, army jumpers and 6000 baitrunners, cutting edge. And not to mention underwater footage and diving lol

Not that old but don't hear much about Frank Warwick's Every Bit Of Blue, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely one of the better characters in our game but still technical with it. Always got time to listen to Frank

Is a gem is our Eric.
Still his story about the badger tops his chapter in the book.

An Obsession with Carp was published before In Pursuit as far as I know (1998/1999).
