OK, that makes sense, think I will look at the narrower one then.

Sorry for a potentially silly question, do you remove the existing mattress and out this in place or use both?
I tend to sleep on top of the bag section with a bedchair cover over me, Ironically the cover was one of Gerry's suggestions too 😊😊😊

It fits into the mattress part of most beds perfectly,if its too wide it will curl up on the surround of the bed.Ive had mine years and on lots of different beds

If you do blow into the S.I.M. be aware that you are introducing moisture and bacteria into the mattress. That is why top end air mattresses have an air bag to blow them up so you don't use your breath. Or some use an electric pump.

Very true and over long periods of time small mould spots can develop
