This to me would appear to be the official Drennan film of the incident. Two Barbel claimed , very similar looking fish .

No , you are misinterpreting the term public body. Simply it means government, council police NHS , official bodies funded by public money, tax for example.

John Baker ' s are very high quality, not cheap unless you re use them , which no one seems to do for some inexplicable reason.

"Carp anglers who make bait at home, are always trying to match some shop bought freezer bait."
Not sure you are right there . Some might use the base mix and liquids etc supplied by bait companies but no one I knows does that, they all source various ingredients from a wide range of suppliers to create bespoke baits nothing like the preparatory baits.

Freedom of Information requests relate to public bodies only ( Government, Police NHS etc ) . You may be confused between that and Data Protection which dictates how our information is managed by all organisations.

Bitter sweet memories of Savay as I was a Ruislip AC member that lost the fishing on there when Tom took it on. That said , I carried on on a day permit for a few years as it was the most beautiful and engaging lake I have fished in 40+ years. Reading both the books I really enjoy his style , he is or was an all round angler not just a carp angler , so has a deeper understanding of the sport. The language is descriptive and as expected avoids the usual rubbish about quick this , little flick that . I pre ordered through Johnson Ross who will notify you of the final book in the trilogy if you subscribe to emails.

Replace the lamlac with skimmed milk powder if you want to improve cold water leakage potential. It's cheap and readily available in tescos etc.

I have tried most over many years and it is the easiest to affix to line , stays put without the need for twists of lead core inner , etc and has sufficient weight. Thank you for your question I hope it assists you and the person who started this thread.

It will become very relevant to the Thames region once they finally make their position known.
