I know exactly what you mean about the smell.

I can't do the glorious 16th this year as I am in France, but as soon as I am back I'll be doing at least 2 nights a week at the rivers, nobody else there.

The tackle in the photo is probably older than me, I like it

Superb Photo... I started my angling adventure on a wicker box like that. Can still feel the cuts in my legs i used to get when wearing shorts as a kid.

Nothing like it, sat between all the cabbages etc. I’m not here for opening day either but will be making a trip soon, love it
