Looking at scaling my quick overnighter gear down and want a true brolly. I have the RS at the moment and although advertised as a "brolly" it's most definitely not a brolly.
I have a bedchair that is 85cm wide and 200cm long, I'm a big lad so can't go any smaller.

I grabbed a solar undercover for the same reasons. So glad I did - cracking piece of kit

I've heard they have issues with the button when taking it down and the side poles are a nightmare to get in.

I am selling my Solar Undercover, only used it once, so as good as new.
I bought it after seeing my mate use his a few times and decided to sell my 100T and buy the Solar, but have decided to go back to the 100T because of the additional room plus I've got the rest of the bits for it..

Solar brolly is 4.4kg.
ESP 58” is 3.9kg.

Not true. I have literally just received mine. Side poles are fiddly to fit but not as bad as everyone made out. I have now left all my storm poles attatched and packed it down with no issue. I added small sections of pipe lagging to the points just to protect the material. Just needs some time and care really.
So far, no issues at all with the button. I gave it a small amount of grease to help

If pack size isn’t an issue you’re spot on.
Lo Pro is 3.7kg and doesn’t need storm poles.
Pack length is 173cm.
QuickDraw 58” pack length 147cm.

As the name suggests, they are ‘lo’ though. I had a mk2 and whilst great coverage, if swim size isn’t an issue, but god it punished my old knees and back crawling in and out of it.

I was looking at that. Lightest proper brolly I can find and the price speaks for itself. Is it stable enough when the winds arrive without fixing points for long storm poles on the front?
