Looking for a light weight compact adjustable chair. Padding would be nice but not essential. I m currently using an Avid collapsible chair. But my fat arse is getting to cold being so close to the ground. And age is catching up. It's getting harder and harder to get out of. Any recommendations..

I had the solar chair, same as others, just rebranded. Too low to get up and out of, and not very comfy for a long sit.
I upgraded to the korda chair. A little bit higher and small side bars to help lift yourself out. Needed a small cushion to make it ok,ish for a long sit.
I'd probably still use it but the long rear legs bent. Korda replaced it, great service, but thought it wasn't sturdy enough to take my dadbod.
Was then using an advanta endurance low chair for ages. This is very good and solid. It isnt quite as low as the korda but its just low enough and perfect for the bivvy doorway in a tempest 100, and has four adjustable legs. The side arms make it easy to get in and out of.
Just upgraded to a Nash indulgence low chair, a bit wider and seems slightly better.
For me, a low chair really does need side arms.

Love my Mk1 Solar SP C Tech Adjustable Low . . these came with a lumbar cushion and a side bag - the Mk2 unfortunately doesn't for presumably profit related reasons! Chair is effectively the same however - and tbf its not that low . . .if you extend all the legs its a reasonable height (I'm 6'1") the arms are comfy and the recline mech is simple and effective . . .simply lift the arms and adjust the back angle - I nod off on mine frequently

Went from a solar sp low chair to a fox super deluxe arm chair and the fox is by far the most comfy chair ive ever sat on.

Recently I went to a tackle shop and sat in the Nash Indulgence Ultralite. That was one comfy chair compared to my old battered JRC chair.
