hi all,found an ultracult carbon landing net pole which is 6ft , has a spiral wrap and a solid machine spreader block with 10mm holes for the arms.
Any recomendations of brands and where i could get some decent carbon arms either 42" or 44" to fit?

Matrix innovations do decent arms or you can get cheapo's from brands like NGT if that's more your thing

I think you're going to have to be quite careful re net arm size. My Matrix arms are 12mm and my Gardner 13mm. I seem to remember having a convo with the chap at Top Notch Tackle about net arms, I'm sure he said the 'standard' was 12mm or 12.5mm

Could try the Tacklebox in Dartford. I'm sure there net arms are 11mm in diameter. A bit closer to what your looking for.

I have the same pole and need some arms for it. It currently has some old JRC ones which a are too thick. I'm also considering switching the block though...

You may be able to drill out the holes to accommodate some more standard arms.

As Baitman mentioned. If your struggling for Arms of that size. 10mm does seem small for a net arm these days. You might have to consider drilling it out to accommodate.Another mil or two and the Tacklebox arms will fit perfect.

I've just had a look on the Tacklebox website. And the bottom of there net arms are 3/8 inch which is under 10mm. Not the 11mm I thought.

hi i see the north western arms are uesd on the calvin hancock net with nw pole and sculptured spreader block,is that the 42" arms that will fit the ultracult pole you have?
or were they older nw arms?

i see you have the same pole,how would you go about switching the spreader block as it looks permanently fixed? it is a substantial block and must add considerable weight.what and how would you replace it? cheers
