I see the relaunch has happened...anyone know if this is the same stuff or has it been altered?
Used to love this stuff. Got some of the stiff version coming today from Johnson Ross so will report back.

Have ordered some as I'm down to my last little bit of the original spools I have. Also ordered the putty which is meant to be pretty good too.

I thought I read its been improved ?
I thought it was perfect and better than the PB Products version too
Oh yea and the other stuff I love and caught tons of big fish on is TRIGGALINK this stuff is soo good cant believe how under used this is can be a massive edge

Jell e wyre soft is still exactly the same as the original chaps but they have added a stiff version as well now

Done some good bits did Atomic. Loved there Jelly wire, Stinga and Chodda hooks. Good to see there back.

I ordered the soft and as far as I can tell it's exactly the same.
Also ordered their putty and it's probably the closest I've used to the original Kryston putty.

whats so great about this hook link? Is it a coated braid?

Yes,.the soft version is the original version. Its a bit finer in diameter than most equivalent breaking strains from other manufacturers, the colours are spot on and the coating doesn't split at all on a figure of 8 loop knot, its also incredibly reliable whilst offering a bit of finesse

Agree with the first reply to your question. It's been great for me for years. I've tried others to see what the fuss was about and have always gone back. Only thing that was missing for me was a stiffer version of it but now that is in the range I'll be getting some.
I use multi rigs for most of my fishing. It's been spot on for this rig. The coating is tough as mentioned so you don't get it splitting half way up your hooklink as much as other coated braids.

Thought I'd bump this thread rather than start a new one.
Tried some of the new 25lb Stiff today and on first appraisal, it's terrible.. seems to have no knot strength and was breaking well before what I'd be happy to cast out.
Anyone else have similar experience, or can offer advice on how to use it best?
At the moment it's heading straight for the rubbish bin, and I'll be down £15
