Any informed views on what are the most stable 1 man Bivvys for dealing with windy conditions?
What do people think sheds the wind best and remains most stable?

Ridge Monkey XF1 - shame it weighs as much as a mini metro and the length of a Cornish a road.
I have recently used mine for a weeks holiday and it is brilliant, but for over nighters it wouldn't be my choice (hence 1st use since buying second hand last year) .
I love my original tempest, for lightest and speed - go in wind as long as it turns up AFTER setting up. The disadvantage of the new type shelters (frontiers, tempests, titans is you can't peg first, whereas the ridgemonkey along with older three rib type dillos you could pretty much save the risky bit until last,

Surely Nash Titan has to be number one choice
For me it would be the Kampa inflatable bivvies. Obviously not available anymore but you could peg them down prior to pumping up and once set up they flexed in the wind but nothing to break (can't snap a air tube like a pole) so whilst they sway around they'll survive in anything but the most extreme conditions.

Is a bit of give a bad thing, my Fox Evo used to wrap around the bed at times, not great with condensation but hey ho, my Fox Frontier (original) wouldn't budge a inch, my Tempest Air ain't bad either but from reputation pov and the pic of the person (girl) sitting on the cross bar (early pr) and a tree resting on it (I'm sure some will remember that) surely it has to be the Titan?

Has to be the Titan. My old MK2 have been out in some storms and it took it without any effort. Can't see my T1 Pro being as good due to additional height.
