Can anyone suggest a landing net that can be used on the river or boat?. 42" and even 36" just feels too big, cumbersome and heavy in the tight overgrown swims and off the boat.

So i think im looking for an allrounder that will take a mid 20+ (im not sure what size the fish go to) ... Something easy to use in a flow, with mesh not too deep .... I have a handle so just really looking for net .... If it folds down for easy transport that would be a bonus

Maybe one of those Korum Latex Barbel nets?

Free spirit do a river mesh for 36" arms - swopped my 36" Tackle Box mesh (which was a little too deep and mesh too small) and its perfect - use it for barbel and dayticket doubles bashing - can easily handle a mid-20

I would look at nets for predators as you are spoilt for choice.

I have a savage gear folding net, very light folds down with a rubber mesh which moves through the water very easily.
Note these come with handle.

I've had a Korum 30" and found the spreader block annoying (you cannot pop out the arms and roll up quickly) as well as the net itself being on the small side . . .however one mans poison etc

I had a Gardener Barbel spoon shaped net and it was absolutely brilliant for using off a boat in amongst thick weed. It will engulf a 40+ with a bit of care. Only downside is that they don't fold, but a small price to pay.

Spoon nets are def bigger (for the inch size designation) than triangle variants - ie a 30" Spoon is bigger overall than a 30" triangle

Have a look at the trakk we EQ with the shallow mesh it has a two piece handle👍
