It's that moment when you take a step towards the bait bucket you feel the eyes..

If there's a phobia of being watched by the bailiff I've got a bad case of that.

Had a Swan at Suffolk Water Park come into the bivvy to raid my bait bucket. Other times they would be clearing up spod spill underneath the rods.

Those swans were handfed by the cafe onsite, so were too used to people.

Many years ago on the pond I was fishing, I befriended a pair of ducks that would visit me a few times a day and I would feed them. Eventually if I failed to notice them, the female would shower water up onto my bivvy with its wings.

Then I started playing a game with them and hide from them in my sleeping bag when I saw them coming, it was the normal routine, swim about in front of the bivvy, if they got no attention, a bit of quacking, still no attention it would be showering water over the bivvy, and after that the female who was the most brazen would come out of the pond and stick its outstretched neck around the bivvy door looking in to try and see me and stay like that till I could not laugh anymore at its stupid confused look and then I would feed them.
Are you sure?
