Give it a couple of weeks and the Great British public will be complaining about the rain.

The way things are going, autumn won't kick in until mid November!
I'm just not prepared to fish for carp in shallow, hot water. Thankfully catfish are fair game and they do like a bit of sun.
Rain next week, but it'll just run off. We need several weeks of ****ty English summer rain to even have a hope of seeing some waters recover before the autumn.

Its been a crap summer - too hot and even my river forays have been a struggle; may actually fish into winter this year if first frosts are late

In 2008, we went to Dorset and were standing on Chesil Beach bathed in 25 deg C. It was October half term, so the end of October. So yes, the seasons have definitely changed. Could be a couple of months away yet

That's an Indian summer, come around every now and then. I seem to remember the school playing fields going Brown most summers when I was a kid in the 70s early 80s.
Far to much is being made of this dry spell, we've not had a proper summer like this for years.
Sods law says we'll have a hard winter because we've had a great summer not to mention the gas and leccy prices, it's the perfect storm you see once in your lifetime if you're lucky.
Was just up the road from Chesil at Charmouth on Wednesday,, lovely sea breeze , a lot hotter in land. Nice and handy having that 25 minutes from home👍

Our seasons are finished, very up and down weather now days, piking is harder, I hate fishing in the heat, apart from that it's all good
