Can anyone think of a way of securing a 2 rod buzz bar on the rear transome of a boat .... I do not want to drill it for stage stands and I cannot think of a way of securing a rod pod. I also have tried mini tripods but again cannot think of a way of securing it ..... So im open to suggestions please folks?

Is there any way of clamping some wood to it that you could drill into without damaging the boat itself.

A little tripod ,then secure it down with cord around some existing screws? Undo something that's on that part of the boat, add a little washer and trap the cord under it if that makes sense?

There is a few ways but restricted by not drilling
Mine are all flush mounted into the rails
I use a strategic xs rail mount I purchased from eBay for beach fishing from metal railings but he hasn't got any at the minute

Irwin Quick grip clamp/s (or similar) onto the stern with the metal section/s extended out over the transom. Drill those to fix the buzz bar/s. Could probably fashion a clamp on pod in this way, or secure a small tripod.

Sounds like a suction cup with a threaded fitting would be just the thing. Lots of options out there, mostly designed to hold cameras onto boats that would do the trick, eg:

Banksticks are 3/8, tonnes of adaptors out there - you can even get some with carp tax added on that are sold as camera banksticks adaptors ;-)
