I got a Sunblesa after it was recommended on here. It's light, small, bright (not ridiculously so), good battery life, comfortable and well priced. What's not to like

The Korda tackle safe is brilliant imo. Best thing they've ever made.

When I was a kid me and a mate were fishing a lake in winter. Usually it was a two rod water but in winter you could fish three. We were genuinely unaware that we needed a second license (the rules at the time). The rod license people turned up. There were several grown men on the water that had no license whatsoever and they got told to go to the post office and purchase one. We, however, had our details taken by the little weasel and got prosecuted. Cost us a few hundred quid each altogether from memory. The injustice still annoys me

Trakker RLX nano chair (think that's what it's called). Really light for a fishing chair. It's low but I like that and I find it really comfortable.

I had one bend out on me whilst playing a fish. It managed to reach some rushes so had to put a bit of pressure on but it wasn't nearly enough to bend the hook imo and I use pretty soft rods. Think I may try the xt's as I love the pattern. Just wish I hadn't bought 5 packets of the originals.

Cheers for the replies lads. Pretty sure a puncture proof wheel barrow wheel will be ok. They're pretty cheap and easy to find. Just need to make sure it will fit!

Just had to abandon my nights fishing as my inner tube has expanded in the car (due to the heat I think) and ripped the tyre. I think it's a mk1 Porter lite. Anyone know of the best way of resolving this asap?
Cheers

As Christmas! Have to say I find it quite amusing. There's a funny bit in one of his esp ones where the fire crackles and he makes an “ooooh” noise that's so carry on it's untrue.
You be you if you're out there Tel.
