As per the title, can anyone recommend a reputable supplier for particles please. Looking for 20/25kg sacks of a decent quality hemp, possibly a pigeon conditioner and smaller quantities of Tares, Groats, Maples and Tiger Nuts. If they are in the Beds, Cambridgeshire, Northants area even better.

Also, can anyone advise best place to get Himalayan Rock salt, Chilli flakes, Hemp Oil or Salmon oil. I did have a read of the 15 year old thread but no recent posts to follow up on.

Thanks in advance.

Try an Indian shop for chilli flakes
GM growers or Titmus for particle
(GM is in Biggleswade)
Tesco for hemp oil
Rock salt possibly somewhere like brookers

Cheers mate. Used to go to GM Growers for my chicken feed whenI lived in Everton near Sandy. Do they do hemp, Tares, Tigers etc? The Pigeon mix I'd have thought they do though.

I'll get the wife to have a look in Bedford as I think she said there's a large Asian store in the centre somewhere.

Himalayan salt from eBay

Hemp can be very hit and miss, I spend the extra and get it from Hinders. Same goes for tigers. Always very good quality.

I get my salmon oil from John Baker, this is probably nuts but again quality varies and I trust that he would source good stuff and not mess about with it.

Same as his shrimp hydro liquid along with every other company that sells it.
Bacarel salmon oil is good. I believe it's food grade isn't it?
I used to use it but haven't got a few years.

AA baits are pretty good for particle.

You have a Gladwells in Rushden.
They will do all the particles you require, and quite probably the Rock salt (it's often used in horse feed), almost definitely the hemp oil, and there is I believe a fishing tackle section.

yes but people selling it in a narrow lipped bottle are likely diluting it, its very thick and unless you're only doing a couple of bottles a week a right pain to decant into narrow vessels. I've found the 38mm neck HDPE bottles the minimum size for not mucking about lol

Thanks Nick. I'll have a drive over the Rushden store as it's only 30 minutes from me.

Yeah I got some when they first released it and had an introductory price. Super thick liquid and stunk something special, I couldn't get the smell off my hands for days. I ended up having to have 3x zip lock bags on my boilies to stop the smell getting out!

I use gladwells for most of my particle. If you want anything they will order it in specially. They don't usually have groats in stock so ask for superioats (brand name) to be ordered in.
Last year I noticed the price of maples for up, from £13 a sack to £18. Not sure if that was gladwells or just the general price increase across the board though.
Are you sure?
