Just finishing Frank Warwick's first book which has been pretty decent for stories and a bit of how to too, what a lad!!
Are there any other new(ish) or about to be released that I should keep my eye out for? Thought with lock downs they may had been a load of them in the pipeline.
I read all the books from the usual suspects years ago and have a few on my shelf so it's the more modern carpers who I may not have heard of, I'm interested in

Dave Littles A Carpers Path that was released a few months ago was a decent read as was Adrian Smith's Monsters of River and Rock. Bit older but not mainstream is Stuart Harris, A Coming of Age of you haven't got that already

Ahha, Stuart Harris from Pompey way? I used to kick around with him on a few local waters. Nice guy and decent surface angler back then 👍

I really like A Flick of the Tail by Dave Lane, a few years old now though. It's better than his last book.
If you go back 12 months, there was a really long thread about books, think it was called something along the lines of "Terry Hearn's New Book". There were lots of recommendations on it.
Edit - just found the thread, it was called Terry Hears New Book, under the General section. Over 500 posts with the last one on 5 Feb 21. That's even more posts than the 7 - 40's thread currently running!!

Sounds about right, plenty of writing about Fort Rowners Moat, Gosport in there. Not an out and out carp or even big fish book but very well written
