Please recommend a set of four alarms with a receiver. Not too sensitive, not too expensive or cheap. My MK1 Delkims are not compatible with van life, doors closed, this winter.

Just got my eldest the Fox Micron MX set. Really nice alarms but then I've never had delkim alarms. Used to have the Fox RX Digital blue set (until they were nicked) so I'll be getting the new RX+ set from Fox again.

Second the ATTs alarms, tough and dependable. JRC seem to get good reviews and are a lot cheaper.

There's a 4+1 set of MX for sale on ebay, £319 less 15% = £271. Seems like a good deal.

Just get four Delkims and a receiver. Saving money buying cheaper seems pointless to me. Just get the best and you're sorted for at least the next 10 years. The latest Txi-D's are brilliant. Had mine a year now, 100% reliable, not matter what the weather throws at them.

My Delkims are 28yrs old. They continued to work through the biggest Cassien storms and have only had one service when they came worse than when I sent them. I think they were £90 each back then. They replaced my Delkim conversions.
I'd go for Delkims but I dont want to look at my alarms and know they are likely to outlive me!

Pro logic have made some alarms that are not very good
HOWEVER !!!!! IF ?
you can get hold of a particular set they make the BAT 3 PLUS Alarms are simply amazing for the money I know of 2 people now that are using them in preference to their Delks !!

Receiver operates with 1 9V battery (not supplied)

I'm currently trying to decide between the Pro Logic BAT+ alarms, the JRC Radar CX alarms, and the Sonik SKS alarms.
I'm leaning to the pro logic ones but happy to be persuaded somewhere else. Budget is around £130 max for 3 + receiver.

a forum member who was using the excellent Radar CX alarms gave a glowing review of them as I do as I have a pair too
anyway he bought a set of Prologic Bat 3 PLUS alarms for his son I think it was and said he was amazed at how good they are
I know of someone else that bought a prologic set purely as a backup to his Delks as he mainly fishes in Europe and went on a 2 week trip to France and discovered he had left the delk receiver at home !! think it was day 3 when he had enough and swapped to the Bat 3 plus 4 alarms and receiver set and he said he was blown away and now the delks are his back up
they are very hard to come by think the only place is Taskers or their Ebay shop the 2 and 4 sets sold out but they did have some 3 set packs but going fast
I have a set of Bat 3 plus but health reasons means not used them as yet fishing is out of the question probably until next year if the treatment works
