Looking for a new small compact 30l ish rucksack. I like the look of the Nash scope recon but not the price (£110). Has anyone got one, is it worth the money? Are there any similar that are cheaper, or can any recommend a good small rucksack please?

I've got one of the recons mate, comfortable to carry and nicely made, its a simple box shape so you can get a lot more in it than you would imagine and because its semi rigid the side pockets don't push in like they do on my thinking anglers or rush 5.11 do and it makes a great surface for putting my essentials on at the back of the brolly. Is it worth the retail...... Probably not but i do like it a lot.

Have a look at the cult tackle ruckall. Similar design, rugged and rigid pockets and main body. I can fit Korda compac 150, alarms, 4 banksticks, pod (if I need it), alarms, rig board, scales, delk nite lite and hangers, 6 pots of hookbaits, catapult, sun cream, notepad, hat and a jacket and still have room to spare.
I don't even bother with a carry all anymore for 1-2 nights only really bother when I stay longer.
Bonus it's £60.

I wouldn't bother with Nash overpriced if you won't a good quality rucksack the speero compact is the one to buy loads of people on here recommend it it's in a different world compared to Nash
If you want a cheaper one there's cult ,ta,sonik solar undercover esp is very comfortable they are all good for price

Have a look at the Snugpak Exocet 35L. £55.00 and you could carry it miles.
It aint a fishing branded/style rucksack mind.

All of the Nash rucksacks I have ever had have been overpriced rubbish that fell apart long before time, in cases within a month or two of purchase.
You are far better to look at military rucksacks like Patrol packs.

Cheers chaps think i'm swaying away from the Nash now. Might get a drennan specialist but will have a look at your recommendations first though.
