So I've gone to put my new reels on my rods to find out they don't fit in the reel seat 
I need new rods anyway so this is just the prompt to get them. Seemingly everywhere is low on stock due to shipping delays and uptake of carp fishing!!
After researching my list includes;
Avid traction pro
ESP onyx
Greys prodigy apex
Budget is £150 max per rod, I'm after a versatile rod that, mainly geared toward playing over power. 3lb is preferred but will go to 3.25 if playing action isn't too compromised.
Anyone got any advice and thoughts?

Shimano have done some good rods of late - the tx2 have had good reviews or u could step up to another of the tx range.
Personally for that money, id go 2nd hand greys aircurve.

A few months ago you could've got the Aircurves for that but just googled and they have gone back up in price. If I were you I would look at the Free Spirit CTX rods for that price and as already suggested the Shimano rods get a good write up within that price bracket

The wychwood range seem like decent rods for the money, a mate of mine has the full duplon d201s and i couldn't believe how nice they were for 60 or 70 quid, I'm not sure if they're still available but wychwood have a history of producing nice rods/blanks at a reasonable price.

Personally I'd be looking for some decent secondhand rods.
I picked up three real quality rods for just £300 from the classified section on here recently.

Been recommended them a lot but I'm not sold on the styling. I also want full shrink handles. Cork if it's really slim, a la the old Sonik Gravity rods.

They're absolutely spot on thank you mate. Still taking a bit of getting used to after my Baby Ballistas, but I'm getting there.
