I like the idea of a fizzing stock mix and I have used the Nash citrus but just wondered if anyone's attempted making there own?

Cheapest place for these is Tesco on 3 for 2 offer.

So 60 tablets for 2.50 quid.

After a few minutes, it's gone.
What are you trying to achieve from a fizzing bait?

Years ago there was an exploding rig that used something like an Andrews tablet and pole elastic
You tied a loop in the end of the pole elastic and put the tablet in that
Thread boilie son to the elastic like a stringer
Tied it on and chucked it out
When the tablet melted it was supposed to fire the boilies around
Whether it did or not is a different matter as I didn't try it lol.

Can't remember who did it now I'm sure it was around the 80's or 90's

Go on the Korda website and look at Ali's fizzy stick mix.

He uses baking powder in the mix to make it fizz. I've tried it in a few different mixes and it bubbles away nicely sending a little cloud up.

Remember it well.
Think there's a reason why it's not used nowadays

Got me out of many holes before, can't say I'd ever thought of chucking them in a lake but the ingredients could be interesting! Salts, fizz etc..
