Hi guys, I've been doing overnighters and days for the last few years and travel pretty light. Apart from my old carp zone barrow that is. I am looking for opinions on lightest barrow I could get. Don't need a barrow bag I literally take a cotswold quiver, tempest V1 brolly, small cotswold bag, flat mat and camera bag. Am I looking at the porter lite as my only option? it seems to be very similar to the carpzone minus the sides? The fox barrow also looks good but as mentioned don't really like barrow bags as don't want to keep taking them on and of the barrow and keeping them on effects size of the barrow in the car.

I recently brought a Porterlite 2, only have to remove the handles and it fits in my Citreon C1! No folding down or removing wheel etc, just lift it straight in with the rear seat folded forward.
Tackle Box do their own barrow, they say it's just 7.5kg but unfortunately there is a wait till next month.

Porterlite2 is by far the best lightweight compact barrow on the market

Was looking for the same a few months back and settled in the Porterlite. Very happy with the decision as it has been great, very good value as well. It is light, compact and you can still get plenty of gear on it with the bag taking a load of stuff. The add on water bags are very useful as well

I've got the JRC Contact Barrow, I think it weighs around 14kg and folds down with the handles attached which is handy. I think I've owned mine about 3 years now and it's been really good for the money.

Right guys I have now taken a u turn and decided on the fox explorer barrow preferably the delux with the olive under bag. Does anyone know where is stocking these as after a good look online nobody seems to have them in stock. Cheers all.

Yeah only let's me create a stock alert. Which is surprising considering they are charging £30 more than everyone else for it.

another recommendation for the porterlite
had mine and half of my mates gear on it for a week long session and it coped, albeit that is a lot more than what you have!

Yeah problem is there seems to be a mass shortage of barrows available at the moment. I think the fox R series basicly looks like a porterlite with a better under bag so might wait until it's back in stock.
