'm no saint either, and i don't know where exactly to draw the line, but i do know the likes of hamidi and all he represents are way over it and will sooner rather than later kill our hobby. Either because all waters are chavishized and you just don't want to be there or the ethical dilemma of fishing (for fun) is becoming so blatant that i will have to admit the anti's have more than just a valid point.

Don't forget the fixed spool reel, Mr Crabtree is emphatic in his condemnation of how it reduces the skill necessary to fish effectively. Jus' sayin'.

I saw the rebrand on YT to the wand (well mk2 anyway) and when I've said anything about it being dangerous I got a bit of stick from the fan boys,but I will never use this and like others have said I'll stick to catching my 6 fish and above a year which I'm than happy with on a public lake or my local canal my way not by using this 💩

No idea why a post was deleted.
Would either have been a slip of the finger by a MOD on their mobile, or they didn't like the post.

The new version addresses the arms sticking out , and I think the original will disappear. Not for me , but I'm sure his target will buy it .

It does not get any better. I can't get over that recent video. I never watch stuff like that normally, but BenB is Ali's new best mate/field tester now so I had to have a little watch. Well funny. Even without the stupid weed rake arms, that despite what he says about folding back against the fish would do massive damage to a big carp charging through weed on the bite. Sometimes in heavy weed even a lead clip is to much. Those things are massive, with a clip too. Even without those arms, a great big plastic object in front of a lead clip is simply far to much. It's the fact that he cannot see that he is wrong. That is what gets me more than anything. Despite every sensible fishery in the UK banning it, he still comes back fighting with a MK2 and everyone is simply wrong.
When your own industry in droves is telling you no, surely you have to at some point sit back and say to yourself... "Maybe I'm not looking at this objectively, lots of money involved". But none of it. Blinkers on, everyone else is wrong, and here is the MK2 now we have sold all the MK1. Ballsy, I'll give him that.
I understand that there are backers and it's business, but jeez.
The actual concept of a buffer is a brilliant one. Forget the self hooking part that means it has to be massive, make it smaller and combined WITH a clip. One product.
I'd buy it.
