My first casting tool was a DAM Des Taylor in 2 1/4tc, proper weapon that was at the time, remember straightening a a hook out with it, lost a nice fish of around 12lb

I've still got my DAM Andy Little 12 foot 2 1/4 rods. Great for flatter fishing and small waters. Lovely for playing fish.

Efgeeco , nets and banksticks , I've still got my 42" Titan with folding net clip and telescopic fibreglass handle .

I still have an Efgeeco seat carrier in the loft.
Most of Woolworths stuff had the name Winfield.

Balcombe Fastnet, anyone remember them?

The original quick fold down net, weighed about 4.5 tonnes if I remember correctly and that was before you got it wet!

What about the Rod Hutchinson (I think) bedchair/rucksack cover. Basically added a ruck sack onto the back of a stanard sun lounger, good bit of kit that was.

Simpson of Turnford used to make some decent rods back in the day. The Jim Gibbinson Eclipse rods were highly thought of
