Completely agree with this. If they weren't so stubborn and admitted that the guides were the wrong way round I'd give them a bit more credit aswell. It is a re invention of the wheel to some extent, but it's turned into something very popular so you can only give nash credit where it is due.
Been lucky enough to see and play about with some of the esp prototype rods, very nice for the price. I actually prefer the blanks to something with a weave, they are nice and light in the hand, well built and I think in bringing out a full range of sleeves, quiver, net etc they will be very popular. If I didn't have some proper 2 piece 10 foot rods I'd look into a set. I will however be looking at one of the nets they look really smart.

I only saw the 9 footers and the handle wasn't short on them at all. I'll get a measurement for you off my mate when I get 5 minutes.

PS i had a retractable Tri Cast senator extender float rod back in early 90's -its not new.Nash did not invent it just developed it for the carp market.
Cant think of another retractable rod before the Tri Casts? They never fully caught on as being a longer rod they felt unbalanced when fully extended unless you load the handle.

Yes I think the scopes are a converted telescope rod can't see all these R and D costs it's a fishing rod and I think your saying that the idea was already there I also agree esp to late with this quick draw gear same as ta haven't bought out 10ft rod sleeves yet was told 2023

Very good read..
I'm surprised more people don't use water filters as weight from water is heavy,those Sawyer mini or micro filters are very safe I use the mini...in my bug out at all.times..
I keeping looking at my porterlite,...for long days don't need it,but for a short night I use it..I go minimal anyway..
Im always looking to minimalist thoughts three leads on ,3 spare ,rest in bug out...
I think there is only so far you can go with this,unless you get into Tarpology,and even then unless you can plow point or other it's just as quick under a brolly..

Also slightly disappointed that they went with them in the Onyx range. If they'd made a 10ft retractable TH rod then I'd rip their arms off
