I did that quite a while ago, after taking a picture and blowing it up so I could read it

After a google, similar to what you have got.

I believe there is something like pythase, spelt right, in the activator, but can't see that, tastes rank though, very chemical

Base mixes have always been basic, not HNV

Mirage baits do a CSL with a part 2 or something, think they have figured it out, considering what the Grange was...

Wish I could remember which brand had potash listed as one of the ingredients...

Cell alternative

They say "This light brown coconut boilie is proving very successful in water dominated by Cell"

25kg = £150, Cell would be £250ish

Not tried it myself, but know a friend who rates it so going to take it to France later this year.

Could give a light coating of the Cell Activator?

re: ....And they are indeed an extremely simple mix.

Soya 33%
Pasta flour 24%
Potato protein 18%
Micronised maize 7.7%
Soya bean meal 6.3%
Heat treated rapeseed 6%
Egg products 5%

blimey if that really is the cell boilies ingredients list...then what a cheap load of sh!te...or maybe i've been overthinking it lol ... as I assumed it had *Brocacel* in it hence the name CELL?!

The iso fish is the same basemix with 10% fishmeal added to it.

Iso fish and fusion almost have the identical base mix. I have pictures if you would like to see it.

re: *Life can be simple and fools pay a lot of money for a bag of mainline!*

indeed!...but hey ho that's 90% of today's modern so called "carp anglers" their modus operandi...sitting in a £1k bivvy, catapulting out £13 + per kg boilies with a paid subscription to some carp fishing channel BS!!!

YOU could knock up a KG mix, FAR SUPERIOR than ANY commercial boilie mix ...most of the ingredients can be sourced from super markets Asian shops etc...would work out around £3 a KG...I use a mix sourced from the above for years AND it rolls superbly WITHOUT eggs! 100% CONFIDENCE!

£3 a kg, go on then put that recipe on here. The days of dirt cheap quality baits are in the rearview mirror, everything costs so much more now. I am intrigued to see this bait especially the ability to make a kg at a time.

So how much per kilo do you think the big boys that resell through retailers cost their baits at? £3 isn't far off the mix when you then add overheads, a margin, transportation and then allow the retailer enough of a margin 🤷‍♀️

A major bait producer told me 2 years ago the there wasn't a big bait firm that was making bait that cost more than £2.50 /kg. Costs may have risen since then.

I am not talking about that though, I am asking about the bait sexonlegs mentions that is far superior to anything on the market that's around £3. Where did I mention the "bigboys" ?.

Sorry, I was just trying to point out the profit margin the big firms work on.
