Off the top of my head i've got around 30. However am planning on getting rid of at least half of them as i need to money to finish the extension 🤣

I'm very fortunate to love both carp and course fishing ,..so that's why I'm minimal...
And thats the reason I'm not
I'd say a average age for my rods is over 20 years, the oldest being 33, a fine Daiwa Harrier float rod free back then with cigarette cards but even bought think they were the grand sum of £30. I think I have 2 of the quiver rods too, 1 with a broken tip:-( ear marked for a swing tip conversion at some point. I longed for Daiwa Whisker rods back then but could never justify the price, they're still nice rods and I often find myself thinking about one on Ebay!
I kept my coarse rods as, I never expected my Carp fishing to be anymore than just another way I fish and certainly not to become almost my exclusive fishing type for over 30 years...but...I still enjoy all the other aspects of coarse fishing and I'm presently erring back towards general coarse.....we'll see. One things for sure, even if I did fancy a new seat box for my old Shakespeare I won't be buying 1...the prices
I know I'm getting old at 50 next year but how do the youngsters afford some of the kit out there, I know if I was one I'd be paranoid about posting...how sad :-( Then again I bet its all over Faceache

3x Hi-S 220, (which I don't use much now, used to cast up to around 48-49 wraps with them)
3x Hi-S 13ft
3x Hi-S 10ft, (currently my fave rods, so light to use - can still hit 25 wraps with them if needed)
For spodding I have a Harisson Trebuchet 13ft, and a small 10ft ESP quickdraw spod rod.

Ha I remember a similar thread on Northern monkeys .They took it off after 4 lads got garage and sheds broke into and all tackle taken.

I think you'd need your head examined to keep expensive tackle in a shed or garage. Especially if you live in one of the more dodgy areas in the UK.

I made a bit of an effort to cut down the amount of stuff i had and to go for quality (for my requirements) over quantity in the hope that when/if i retire I will have all i need to cover all types of coarse/carp/specimen fishing. I only keep a handful of rods at home with me, rest in professional storage unit. The only rods i may be tempted to add in the future is if ESP bring out a carp rod based on the Alcolyte blank
