You'd be hard pressed to find a better role model for kids than a lot of the highly successful business/salesmen in the industry. Wet woollen sleeves, photos of fish tails and a whispy pubic hair beard may seem cool to some now but it won't buy you a lambo or clear the mortgage

Absolutely ridiculous idea. Most Rod sleeves I've had, that box contraption wouldn't even fit in the sleeves.
How hard is it to use a quick link and pop the hook link off and into a rig case, takes less time that strapping that silly box onto the rod!

More plastic c#%p to lug around that solves a problem nobody ever knew existed. Looking forward to seeing the dedicated carry case and other accessories.

Good luck to Ali on this. I do hope the company builds up to meets his expectations and expertise. I can't see them fitting into my fishing but it may suit others. The idea is not OMC which they stated and have left the innovators branding on the plastic box which is a nice touch.

Not for me but at least its a new idea - get the ridge monkey vibe that people mention.
My initial impression was yeah can see the point but to much clutter for me. I think the price point is a tad steep, at £10 a pop would fit it into the same range as most "rod accessories" imo.
Also think it could have been more refined & improved tbh. Imagine having a rig board on it with room for 3 or 4 rigs.
Like i said not one for me but well done on launching their first product and it not being a copy of what's already out there. The fella has launched a business through a pandemic, regardless of what people think of him (im sure not many of the haters on here have actually never met him and spent some time with him) some respect should be given to what he has done getting this company off the ground and also what he has done for the wider world of carping.

I don't think it's that ridiculous an idea tbh. Certainly not on the same level as the Nash footpath or Bankbug spoon imo.
They'd work well for guys that use tip tops.
They'd be decent for moving quickly (I always end up with rigs swinging about everywhere when I've dumped everything on the barrow to get round to showing fish).
I'll not buy them as I don't use tip tops and and I can't be bothered to carry 3 boxes around in case I want to move quickly but I don't think they're useless.
Edit: Could have been made a bit smaller though. They look massive.

Would it be a bit more worthwhile if it kept a straight rig or boom under tension, then had a coned or curved part that could keep a chod section under tension. A combination of the Korda rig safe and chod safe?
Other than protecting a hook point, which can be done with a filter tip, I don't see the point in putting a rig in a box with no tension.
Pointless or not, as said before, a nice touch to be so open about the people who came up with it.

Can't see the benefit of this at all. You can buy those rig clips from ngt for a few quid. Hook in to foam and a clip on to the eye of the rod. They've been about years. Most people have a detachable lead that can be taken off and put on within seconds.
Not for me, I have my rods made up strapped to the rod with lead bands then just clip on a rig and that's it. About the only rig I could see it being useful for is a choddy set up but even then personally I would just use a chod band....
For their first product it was always going to be a gamble....they could have played it safe and released a terminal range for example just the same as everyone else so credit for going with something innovative.

Wow what a divisive set of responses.
Personally I use a PVA bag in 99% of my fishing so it wouldn't really appeal to me.
I can see the use with a stiff hinge or other rigs with curves formed etc, but it's not something that would interest me at that price, mind you, £20 for a piece of plastic in carp fishing nowadays that's not unusual is it.
First of many products which is all about Ali maximising his independent influence to add £££'s to his bank balance. I'm sure we would all do the same in his situation.

Being as Ali is such a prominent character he's always going to attract a lot of feedback / criticism etc.
I like the guy, he's clearly been a big part of Korda's success.
