Being street wise has jack to do with being on your guard; best form of defence is to remove yourself from the situation in the first place. Even 1v1; defending yourself from a knife wielded with intent is stupid with a very low % of any success - unless you have a katana / shotgun in which case its you that's doing life . . .lose lose situation

I'm on about life in general wherever I'm fishing I still trust no one even if I'm out and about I trust no one it's not like years ago for it's nothing to do with being streetwise or cocky etc

As scary these incidents are they are extremely rare , you've got more chance of being injured or dyeing in an RTA on the way to fishing .

Problem is I think is its an island, not easy to get away from.

Really sad that someone doing what he loved should be killed by thugs. Sad that those thugs are in society today, not just those 3 (now 2) but how society is turning them out.
